There is really a simple answer to

Posted: Apr 27, 2017

Trump goes on a tweet storm blaming the democrats for wanting to shut the government down so you and I can't go to national parks because they won't agree to a spending bill.  The democrats don't want to pass a spending bill until they see his taxes and how he would benefit from any bill they put out.

Well that's a no brainer, show the taxes.

;

Democrats are shady. - Sounds like blackmail to me

[ In Reply To ..]
Oh the games these crooked politicians play.

What's shadier is that he won't show his - tax returns

[ In Reply To ..]
He would rather shut the government down than show his taxes. What is that saying????

Call it what you want but if Obama were doing it you would be all over it. He did show his taxes and so have all the modern day presidents.

I think showing taxes is not necessary to be president. - He was elected without showing taxes

[ In Reply To ..]
I think Trump WILL NOT BE BLACKMAILED.

Shut down the government. Dock the politicians.

If Obama did or did not show his taxes it would not matter. As a matter of fact, I have no idea what it would prove. Everyone is unique and Trump is a modern day president who did not show his taxes.
Trump will not release tax returns because - he is hiding something
[ In Reply To ..]
He has given way on everything else, the wall, NAFTA, healthcare... he's standing firm on not releasing his taxes because he's afraid to. SAD!
If Trump had something to hide, he certainly - would not run for president
[ In Reply To ..]
Someone would out him. They got his other tax returns. They also have a financial statement from him. Trump afraid??? LOL

Do not judge everyone by yourself.
If he didn't have something to hide - Resist Trump
[ In Reply To ..]
he would show them. Now, with tax reform looming, we need to know how much he would benefit from the plan he is proposing. Everyone makes money from the presidency but he is taking it to new and unethical levels. Show the returns!
Lefties a bit paranoid. Trump runs for president - with something to hide.
[ In Reply To ..]
Let's see tax returns from all the politicians, including all the people are "demanding" Trump's.

As a matter of fact, everyone's tax returns should be public. Let's see who the cheats are top to bottom.
You can see mine! - Nothing to hide!
[ In Reply To ..]
My husband and I made less than $55,000.00 and paid almost $10,000.00 because his boss made him an independent contractor last year. Our son turned 17 so no loner get the earned income credit. Our state tax came to just under $1,000.00 too Can you say BROKE??? I do not believe his tax ideas are going to get through Congress unscathed and it will be as always - We get screwed and the rich get richer, even Trump!
LOL. That's all I can say to that. - Accept Trump, sm
[ In Reply To ..]
He isn't the one who will bring the United States down. The stupidity from those who will not unite and stand as one is what will do it. I hated Obama, but accepted it. Didn't feel he is was all that honest either.
Give him credit - old and burned out
[ In Reply To ..]
He knew the gullible would vote for him even without full disclosure. He was right. And now we all are paying the price.
I am certainly not gullible nor are most who voted - for Trump.
[ In Reply To ..]
I voted AGAINST crooked Hillary. I could not stand to have that hag shouting at me while she had a microphone in her hands. Lots of people did not want a crooked politician be president. We all saw what Hillary did over the years. Steal, cheat and lie. Plus what is she hiding under those giant pantsuits.
so a stupid con man was better - maybe that choice
[ In Reply To ..]
is not strictly gullible. No, voting FOR HIM was gullible, if you think he is better than HRC. If you were just voting against HRC...maybe not gullible.
Hillary was doomed from the beginning. Private server - Benghazi, FBI investigation and career politician.
[ In Reply To ..]
The gullible are those who thought Hillary could win with all her baggage and underestimated Trump.
I think it was more than the server. - anonon
[ In Reply To ..]
All of that aside, she is just plain unlikable. It is too bad that it always comes down to the lesser of 2 evils though. It should be a fairer system than all of these corrupt billion dollar companies and individuals being able pour all of this money into only 2 parties to get their agendas taken care of in Washington. I doubt our forefathers were able to foresee this mess!
I think he ran PRECISELY so he could hide his - shady business practices with - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
endless "executive orders" and rule-changes. And in the meantime, while all that's going on to distract Americans, he's allowing his family to rake in as much cash as possible.
It's not. It started with Gerald Ford. This just gives the - Democrats a talking point for their
[ In Reply To ..]
base.

No one mentions the fact that Trump was required to - submit a financial disclosure form.

[ In Reply To ..]
They ignore that and probably have not even looked at it.

This is a classic misdirection by the liberals. Sending in the problem. Audit every agency and position.

It is not a constitutional requirement, so don't do it. - This is the phoniest attempt at

[ In Reply To ..]
creating a scandal. His taxes get examined by the IRS every year. That is all the disclosure needed.
Just because what he does isn't illegal - it doesn't mean he isn't
[ In Reply To ..]
hiding something, like who he owes money to, what dealings he has that could be conflict, etc.
I don't care about his taxes or who he owes - money to. Why do leftists?
[ In Reply To ..]
It's just a stupid attempt to bash Trump by a bunch of sore losers.

I don't give a rats *** about this tax forms...I only - care about tax reform.

[ In Reply To ..]
If there was anything there, Lerner would have leaked it in 2015.

Move on, we have a country to make great again.

and I don't give a rat's *** that you don't care - I do and so do many

[ In Reply To ..]
You folks who support him are so hypocritical. You slammed Obama and Hillary for anything and everything they did yet don't question anything this guy does. I want to know what he is hiding in those taxes and so do a lot of people. It makes him look guilty of something. Maybe he's not but if he had nothing to hide he would not risk shutting the government down over them. He also promised he would show them during his campaign. You are so tolerant of this lying conman yet so intolerant of anything others did. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Wow! Trump hatred beyond understanding - Is this because of Hillary's losing?

[ In Reply To ..]
Or does hatred combined with jealousy drive lefties?
The thing that's truly impossible to understand - is why ANYONE likes fascist Trump.
[ In Reply To ..]
It's like his voters WANT to give more of their incomes and former freedoms to the rich. It's like they WANT violence in the country to escalate. It's like they WANT a nuclear confrontation with Korea and/or China and/or Russia, and they talk like they'd be the first ones to sign their kids up for the military, even with a 3rd world war looming in the future. It's like they WANT to live with poor health due to lack of healthcare, and possibly die from it. It's like they DON'T want social security to kick in for them when they reach retirement age. It's like they DON'T CARE about our national parks, our food and water, or our economy. Nor the fact that the companies they work for, that are cheating them on pay and benefits as they offshore their work, are getting a slap on the back, an "attaboy", and an insane increase in tax breaks from this administration.

Do those voters really hate themselves, their country, and their fellow citizens THAT much?
No we hated crooked Hillary that much! - It's all about Hillary.
[ In Reply To ..]
Trump may not have won if Democrats had run someone else.
No, I just hate liberal democrats - that much...
[ In Reply To ..]
...and everything your disgusting, bullying, nasty, lying, hypocritical filthy party stands for.

Savvy?
Nasty? - anonon
[ In Reply To ..]
Sheesh - You would know I guess!

Maddow's ratings must be down again. They went up and then Trump's - returns showed he paid more than he had to,

[ In Reply To ..]
$38,000. Then they tanked.

Maddow had ratings? She must come up with a new stunt, a new - "get Trump" bid, something like

[ In Reply To ..]
“I will have Trump tattooed on my butt!” If she fails, a live show from the tattoo shop! That could get ratings.

I don't think you get Trump's idea of - tax reform

[ In Reply To ..]
Although there was very little detail in his "plan" it's clearly designed to benefit the very wealthy and not you and me. Sorry, your hopes are misplaced.

If Drumpf remains in office for an entire term, - America may never be great again.

[ In Reply To ..]
Judging by the amount of damage he's been able to do in just 100 days, if he remains in office for four years, the damage done to our infrastructure, the economy, our healthcare, and our relations with the rest of the world will likely be irreparable.

Trump donated his salary to the National Park Service. - Obama shut it down but it wasn't

[ In Reply To ..]
necessary. He did it to be vindictive.

I guess we're back on this again.

So the Democrats are holding America's budget - hostage? This is how the mafia operates.

[ In Reply To ..]
xx

Well republicans did the same thing so I - guess they're both mafia

[ In Reply To ..]
that doesn't change the fact that Trump should show his taxes to prove he has nothing to hide, as he promised. Then there is still this investigation going on with Russia. I didn't forget about that either and neither did others. I see they are hot on Flynn right now.

Obsessed! LOL - Lefties are so very funny

[ In Reply To ..]
So sad no life outside of Trump.

Let the govt shut down. Let the Democrats get the - blame. Of course, the MSM

[ In Reply To ..]
will make sure they don't get the blame.

Not sure what the "government" does. - If they shut down, will they be missed?

[ In Reply To ..]
Will their pay be withheld while the shutdown is in effect?

That's just silly - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
Your reasoning is that Trump should release his taxes so the Democrats can make sure he wouldn't benefit from the reforms. By that reasoning, shouldn't everyone in Congress release their taxes so we can see that they too won't benefit?

What if I don't care about who in government benefits, as long as **I** get some benefit from the change?

What if I don't care if the government shuts down because I know they keep all the vital services running during a shut down anyway?

What if I think there's too much waste in government and they should shut it all down outright? Give it a few months, then let the shut-down departments justify their existence to be reopened.

Is visiting national parks really that important to you?

It's only silly to Trump supporters - They don't care what he does

[ In Reply To ..]
It doesn't surprise me though since you don't mind paying for his golf outings every weekend but didn't like Obama golfing. They also don't mind paying for SS for his kids while on company business.

Since we're off that topic, and onto a new one - apparently - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
Let's discuss something else the Left gave Obama a pass for that is going to blow their minds when Trump does it bigger and better:

Using the national spy agencies to collect and unmask data on political enemies.

Right? We know Obama did it to Trump and members of Congress. The left didn't mind and (according to Ben Rhodes and Susan Rice) it's not illegal.

I just want to give you the opportunity to gin up your arguments now. (The golf comparison you keep mentioning is going to seem really cute in retrospect.)

You'll notice the Pubs in government all went silent when they learned exactly what Obama did and how it probably wasn't illegal. That's right! They're going to be pulling the same trick on Warren, Bernie, anyone on the left they want.

When you complain, they'll whip out the video from people on the Left who justified it.

Still harping on Trump's golf? - Who is keeping track of the cost?

[ In Reply To ..]
Do you mind paying for the person who keeps track of Trump's golf? By the way, he is golfing at his own place. Does he charge himself to golf?

I did not follow Obama closely like the haters who follow Trump. I could not care less what he did in his leisure time. Was there a bean-counter watching his expenditures on the golf course?

So what if he benefits. He is trying to benefit - mt

Simple Solution For Conservatives.Oct 14, 2009
If you are unhappy with the current administration, start volunteering your time, put your money where your mouth is, and get more conservatives out to vote in future elections.  If your candidates have the majority of votes, you will get the change you seek.  If your candidates do not have the majority of votes, then you are obliged to abide by the laws set forth by those elected to office by the majority.  That is how democracy works.
