Business as usual for

It is truly unbelievable that this conman is our president.  He is using the office of the president to profit his business and it is shameful.

Did you read the article? This isn't Trump doing this stuff. It's the CEO.

Trump is trying to be president.

Just a question - Do

[ In Reply To ..]
you really believe Trump does not have anything to do with his business?

I really don't know. There's no evidence that he does - Truthhurts

and there's no evidence that he doesn't. It's another question of who's telling the truth, isn't it?

I certainly don't really on any news media that will quote a liberal media or one that is KNOWN to lie about the Trump administration through their hate articles. That includes Salon, Mother Jones, Media Matters, HuffPo and WaPo, along with TV and cable news.

We have a president who has lived and functioned in the real world... - not a politician....

[ In Reply To ..]
albeit not my "real" world, I should say, but suddenly being a businessman makes him "unfit" to be president? What business experience did BO have? He was a career politician as is HC. I, for one, am anxious to see what someone who has actually had to make decisions for himself and his company can do when he has to make decisions for the people of this country. Maybe if the presidents in the past made decisions that they had to ultimately live with themselves, they would have thought about things differently. Wait and see.......

We have a president who has no respect - for women, ripped off

[ In Reply To ..]
people who have worked for him and is using the office of the president to enhance his business. Being a businessman does not make him unfit but being a crooked businessman does.

Recently, his son-in-law said we need to run this country like a business and citizens are their customers. The USA is not a business and we are their employers, not their customers.

Trump is trying to run this country like a dictatorship. His cabinet is beyond questionable. He is putting his family in positions in the White House with disregard to nepotism laws. His daughter now has an office and clearance. She also runs a business that members of his team, including himself, have given "free commercials" for.

His sons are running around the world doing business and using secret service that we pay for to do this. People with scruples would not do this and pay for their own security. They do not have to have secret service protection as adult children, but choose to because they want to keep their money and let us pay for them to do business.

There is so, so much more wrong with this administration but why waste my breath. The Trump supporters always say we are just sore losers or bring up things that have nothing to do with this administration.

I don't want to wait and see how far down this administration will take this country. I want something done about their unethical behavior and am writing my representatives to demand something be done about this crooked, disgusting idiot that you call president.

from the Trump organization.  Briefly, Trump & Co. did not want to pay for the clean-up, saying they had no connection to the previous owner that left the mess.  The previous owner was Donald Trump, Jr.  Trump & Co. wanted the taxpayer to foot the bill.  It appears that even the red state of South Carolina would not buy this. ...

Obama Agency Rules Pepsi's Use Of Aborted Fetal Cells In Soft Drinks - Business As UsualMay 08, 2012
I heard about the story of smuggled capsules of human flesh made in you know where.  As if finding out they eat eggs cooked in urine of small boys was not enough to make me gag.  So, then found that Pepsi uses fetal cells as a flavor enhancer (at least that's my understanding of the article - could be wrong of course).  Then I read that Obama's administration said it's okay to use aborted fetus in Pepsi.  Again, maybe I read that wrong.  Either way, never ...

The Hobby Lobby case will come down to how Kennedy feels on the day the vote is taken.  No more, no less.  Since HL is only objecting to the 4 forms of birth control out of 20 that cause abortion, I don't see what the problem is.  There are 16 forms of BC left, in addition to holding an aspirin between your knees.  He didn't say that last part, I did. ...

Stressing About Surgery, Not For The UsualAug 07, 2013
So I went to the orthopedist in May, had xray of my shoulder. At that time it was popping quite a bit and hurting (hurting that is until I got to the office, but you know how that is). Bottom line, xray done, doctor studied for a minute (could see his scanning as he was directly outside the room pondering the radiograph). He said you can just watch and if it should become more painful then surgery. Ok so it got worse over these few months. Am trying to sit operation up, getting okay from PCP (to ...

But did MSM show Peter King who, BTW, sponsored the bill, and Weiner in an interview together? Bet not.  They just showed Weiner so people would do EXACTLY what they are doing now.  I put Fox on because DH was late getting home and I wanted him to see Weiner flipping out. I had seen it on MSM earlier. I did NOT see them interview Peter King, only Weiner. So. what I got was one side of the story there.  I got part of the story between these two on Fox. How Do You Allow Your Dog To Do Their Business?Feb 16, 2010
So to those who do own dogs, do you walk them, tie them to a tree/lead or just let them wander around the yard (hopefully a fenced yard) on their own? While I was growing up, we raised 3 dogs and all lived to be from 14-17 yo. They were always walked several times a day no matter what the weather was. Never did we have them outside in a yard, nor did we have them tied to a tree or anything else. To my parents, tying them up and allowing them be alone outside was just unthinkable. In two weeks, ...

How Trump is Draining the Swamp Chaos or strategy? This Might Explain a Lot of Things Going on at The White House "Apparently, liberals and never-Trumpers are so isolated in their political circles that they have no concept how things work in the real world of business and corporate America. Regulations And BusinessOct 24, 2012
I saw some comments on the board recently about the strangulation of business through regulation.  It's a subject I've always been fascinated by because of its vast complexity, politicization and above all a complete lack of named regulations.  It's so rare that any politician right or left ever names an individual regulation they don't like.  They are always referred to in bulk: "Those darn regulations are killing American jobs."  Certainly some are point ...

How Much Does A Business Have To Make Before It Does Not Have To Pay TaxesApr 05, 2011
We've been asking the wrong question. My family has a business. We hire people, so according to the current standards, we should not have to pay taxes. We are creating jobs. However, we have not yet reached that magic number. It's  higher than most of you think. You have to make more than a million a year, much more than that probably, before you get to stop paying taxes. Before you get to that point, you get to save money in other ways. I paid cash for my house. I pay cash for ...

Trump Bad For Local BusinessFeb 20, 2017
For some of the businesses and government agencies that surround President Trump’s “Winter White House,” the effects of his frequent weekend getaways to Mar-a-Lago can best be told in numbers. $200,000 in lost fuel sales at a large local airport in a single four-day visit this month. 75 no-shows at a new restaurant in just one night. $60,000 a day to pay overtime to sheriff’s deputies who guard the many closed roads, a tab that is about $1.5 million over all ...

Democrats Are The Best Friends Big Business Every Had.Oct 13, 2015
contenders at Tuesday's Democratic presidential debate will say they're the toughest on big business. What they won't say is their own policies favor big business, big time.
