Trump's proposed budget

Posted: Mar 17, 2017

is a disgrace.  We already spend more on the military than the next 7 countries combined.  They also need to learn how to budget and save.  I would spend anything on those who have been in combat but when the military spends millions for redesigned uniforms and the budget cuts meals on wheels it makes me sick.  And the tax cut for the 1% hasn't even come yet.

;

Yeah, explain - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
to me if you don't mind the whole military thing. What's wrong with our military the way it is/was? I'm not sure I understand this. It comes off as his "bully/biggest/strongest" personality worrying about something that isn't broken in the first place. Much like the paranoid schizophrenic he presents himself as being. What am I missing here?

What you said pretty much sums - it up

[ In Reply To ..]
We have a bully in office who only cares about his million man army while the rest of us starve, die from sickness because we can't get insurance to help pay medical bills, die from poisons in our air/food/water. He's bragging about cutting the protectionism we have with the EPA to build more bombs. After all, "if you have them, why not use them?"

Stay on Point...The damage you are talking about - with Obama is being corrected now

[ In Reply To ..]
x
What???? - What damage Obama
[ In Reply To ..]
did? He's not the one who is tearing apart the EPA, taking funds from poor people and wanting to give all the tax breaks to the wealthy. We are going to feel a lot of pain from this current administration. I don't think I strayed from the point.

After all, only those whiny - mooching liberals use Meals on Wheels

Never republicans. Hungry, Grandma? Go to work at Wal-Mart. #Resist

Meals on Wheels will not go away. It will just be handled in - a different way. (probably by Republicans).

Same thing with the ‘after school programs’ there is a block that is sent to the States from the Federal Government and if the States don’t do this program, that doesn’t lay at the feet of the Federal Government...

Republicans? - old and burned out

[ In Reply To ..]
I don't think you libs understand what the word impeach means or what is considered an impeachable offense. Doing things that you don't agree with b/c you are a whiny liberal is not an impeachable offense. Beefing up our sad military is not an impeachable offense. Cutting funds from meals on wheels is not an impeachable offense (especially when that same stuff is covered elsewhere).

No they aren't, they are just things that - show he doesn't care

[ In Reply To ..]
about people. On the military thing, we have a great military. Can we improve, most definitely but starving the old people and hurting the poor is not the way to do it.

Hopefully, when they dig further they will find the real impeachable things on him. Calling our military sad is pretty sad.

If he makes 4 years (fingers crossed he won't) - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
that's plenty of time for him to royally mess up, already off to a GREAT start. The Obama accusations doesn't help him at all. And truthfully if I were Obama, I'd sue the pants off him (well they're probably made in China so maybe not). Let's be real, ANYONE else making such claims would be sued immediately by trump. Obama is handling it well cause let me tell you if it were me he was accusing of this garbage, I'd have him in court so fast he wouldn't have time to make another tweet. There is not a thing wrong with our military. The problem is with the crazy bully who claims there is.

sad military - shel

[ In Reply To ..]
When one division of the military has to borrow parts from broken down planes from another division of our military just so they can get their planes in the air, that is sad. Same goes, when I have to give some of my measly MT income in taxes to the lady down the block who doesn't feel like working, that is sad too. The old people won't starve because republican Christians will take care of them, like they always do. Dems only want to take out of your pocket to give to someone else because they have no idea what it means to actually give of themselves simply out of love and compassion. forcing charity is not charity.
Great posts. I, too, am sick to death of the freeloaders - If you needed help BEFORE OBAMACARE
[ In Reply To ..]
There were 500+ gov run programs and organizations to help with whatever needs the poor had. No need for the dems/commies/libs/progs to keep "stealing" from those of that work to continue to enlarge the entitlements of the illegal aliens and those too lazy to work. Love you posts above.

AGAIN FOR THOSE WITH DIFFICULTY UNDERSTANDING THE ENGLISH WRITTEN WORD - IF YOU ARE DISABLED, POOR, NEED HELP **LEGITIMATELY**, HELP IS IS THERE FOR THE ASKING.

So glad crackhead Obama is gone, gone, gone. That goof is/was totally incompetent
sad military? - anonon
[ In Reply To ..]
I guess you took that from Trump? He keeps saying the military has been so sad and so depleted. I type reports for a VA and recently had one where the soldier was talking about having to wear equipment from the Vietnam Era. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but there have been several republican presidents since Vietnam that should and could have made sure that old stuff was retired. If we are so "depleted" there must be mega amounts of newer equipment for use since there are far far less soldiers to outfit, right? Hmmm... curious. As far as republican Christians feeding the elderly out of charity, that is all well and good, but is not a guarantee. The government funding those programs is guaranteed, so the elderly know their meals will be there every day, not just when some republican feels like being a Christian that day. The Congress is certainly not going to ensure those meals because the republicans keep saying that they are all about cutting off anyone that is getting anything from the government!
You know what? The people I know that - are on welfare, get food
[ In Reply To ..]
stamps, don't work, don't give to charity, grab all they can for free are the ones who voted for Trump!

I voted democrat and I worked several jobs at once to keep a roof over my children's heads, paid daycare, didn't get food stamps or welfare and had no insurance (pre-ACA).

I don't appreciate being insulted because I voted democrat. Good people, whether Democrat, Republican, Christian, Muslim or atheist, white, black or purple will help people. Political party has nothing to do with that.

If he didn't care, he would expand spending on some items - Truthhurts

Our military for one. Veterans for another.

The Dems have done it again, espeically by Pelousi and Chuckie in denigrading any cuts to any prorem. Hundreds of programs that duplicate other programs are NOT needed. They need to cut them out.

If you have every read any of Tom Coburn's ideas for cutting government spending or did you vote in Eric Cantor's You Cut? Two Congressmen who really tried to get spending under control.

HYPOCRITES so sick to death of you.

you are for the death of babies. you can try to skulk your way out of it - but when someone gets an abortion, a baby is murdered. the baby certainly did not die of natural causes when it is cut to pieces or has a pole rammed through the back of his/her head. keep lying

And please do tell, how can a "christian" support the likes of this WH, bannon especially? This is the LEAST christian WH I've seen in a long time. Hypocrisy lies right there. i don't put the sin of trash-talking women on the same level as ripping defenseless infants apart with a knife, no. there hasn't been a true christian in the white house in a VERY LONG TIME. libs use that as a weapon while at the same time promoting murder. DO YOU THINK THAT RIPPING A BABY APART WITH A BLADE IS ACCEPTABLE SIMPLY BECAUSE THE MOTHER DOESN'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED WITH TAKING CARE OF THE BABY SHE CREATED? Can you answer that anon? It's a simple question. You don't need to go into the fallacy of rape/incest (less than half of 1/10%). Answer the question. If you say that yes, you should be able to kill your child because you are too lazy to take care of it or you were too lazy to prevent it in the first place, then anything you have to say about Christianity, compassion or love is completely pointless. You cannot be both a cheerer for the murder of children and compassionate. they are incompatible ideas. ANSWER THE QUESTION IF YOU CAN WITHOUT FILLING IN A BUNCH OF FLUFF. Yes or no.
I am not "anon" - sm

about your reading skills. Again, I am NOT the person you are waiting to respond and if you attack me ONE MORE TIME you WILL be reported.
Believe it or not, there is more than one anti-liberal - on this board...
[ In Reply To ..]
I am NOT the same person you responded to previously, that was my first post to this thread, but I was curious of your answer and waiting for one along with the poster before me in which after your reply it was apparent we were not going to get one.

And what you consider an ATTACK from that poster is a far cry from one, it is a QUESTION, but it is the liberal way to twist and distort something to avoid answering the question.

So report away, by all means, if it helps you to feel better since your feelings are getting so hurt.

It is apparent you would much prefer to have a board where it is full of nothing but liberal democrats where you can continue to trash Trump, spread lies and bash republicans without any rebuttal whatsoever. After all, in the libs mind, the lib is always right and can never admit when they are wrong.
I am curious as to WHAT QUESTION?????????????? - Nn
[ In Reply To ..]
I have no idea what you're talking about...at all. WOULD YOU WANT TO REPEAT THE QUESTION SINCE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT QUESTION YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT???????? OMG you just don't stop.
Why bother copy and paste a question you have no - intensions of answering...???
[ In Reply To ..]
Or did you now forget that too...??? You have had ample opportunity in all your replies above, you know, the posts where you claim you're being attacked and threatened to report the posts you don't like if you are attacked just "one more time"-- did you forget that now too?

By the way, I cannot figure out for the life of me how it is you can feel attacked in a post you supposedly have not even read, you know, it being "nonsensical" and all.

Remember this reply?

"I AM, however, the one who you're yelling at nonsensically. ****I won't read this crazy over the top, nonaccurate post at all.**** You need to check yourself because you are the one sounding the furthest thing from christian yet. Seriously, get a grip."

That was not a reply to me, but I replied to your post as it is apparent you did in fact read that post by your own words, but the typical liberal that you are, you avoided the question by claiming not to have read the post and at the same time claiming you were being attacked and yelled at. Go figure.

smh
OK, just wow - Nn
[ In Reply To ..]
you are truly an angry person (should I judge you as being a typical alt-right?). For your information, I did not read "your" post, I read..."i don't put the sin of trash-talking" women on the same level as ripping defenseless infants apart with a knife, no. there hasn't been a true christian in the white house in a VERY LONG TIME. libs use that as a weapon while at the same time promoting murder." That was as far as I got, no need to go further. It was nonsensical, completely out of line and had nothing to do with anything I posted at all, hence the comment. You are raging on about nothing that is any of your business or concern. This is a political board. Where you get I'm a liberal is beyond me. FYI I'm not, not that I owe you any answer at all. Another FYI I don't know one single person who is pro abortion including myself if that's the question you somehow feel you NEED the answer to. You are not the higher being anyone needs to report to, it's none of your business or concern. Now consider it answered and move on to go rage to someone else.
The post made perfect sense, - you just didn't like what you were reading.
[ In Reply To ..]
No one is forcing you to come back here to read and reply. You could have stopped coming back to this thread after your first response.

All posts on this public board are anyone's business who care to take the time to read and reply so don't tell me it is none of my business or concern.

And I have not seen too many happy posts on this politics board, have you? I didn't think so. Lots of angry, frustrated posters on this board, mainly from the liberal Democrats for obvious reasons. They lost and will be miserable until they get another liberal democrat in office.

You can interpret my posts as raging if you like, I don't really care, I would expect that type of comment from someone who claims they are being attacked and yelled at when asked to answer a simple question.
I'm responding because - Nn
[ In Reply To ..]
I get notifications of responses. How am I not to respond when someone who doesn't know me at all keeps calling ME PERSONALLY a "typical lying liberal"???? How is that not personal? You do realize you don't know me, right? The things you are saying are judgmental and just plain wrong. I will reply to defend myself against off-base stereotyping. And no, pushing someone to post their views on abortion is NOT your business. Everyone has their right to their beliefs whether you agree with them or not. I am a democrat. I'm not miserable at all, but I do have the right to be unhappy with this what sits in office now. He doesn't represent anyone well, republicans or otherwise. He doesn't even represent humans well. This board is an angry board but it isn't from "liberal democrats", it's the replies and nastiness from the right, the name calling, the immature responses, the judgments. And just to be clear, I'm a democrat who would vote republican if I felt the candidate was the better one. He was not in this case, therefore can't support this "man" and his craziness. I'm all for open minded discussions and different views which brought me to this board. I thought (silly me) that maybe someone could shed light and give me valid reasons why I should look at trump differently, not to be called a liar or berated for my opinions. BTW, your question wasn't a simple one, it was a personal one that I didn't have to answer.

And ALL the liberal democrat posters on this board are so full of love and peace, right? LMAO. I have heard it all now.

Laughing.

Honestly, I don't know why we republicans bother waste our precious time here. It is impossible to reason with the unreasonable. But I have noted fewer and fewer rights on this board and it has mostly turned into a whining board for the left to vent and trash Trump and republicans on.

So carry on and keep doing what you liberal democrats do best.

my son flying planes from WWII or robbing plane graveyards for parts to fix these planes. How many planes and helicopters have gone down in the past year?

They need safe planes, helicopters, vehicles, etc. They haven't been able to upgrade the equipment because of cuts to the military.

Here is the bottom line - me

[ In Reply To ..]
Those who don't appreciate the increases for what is important and the decreases for 'social programs' are the ones who benefit from the latter - and have for years. They don't want to see their freebies going down the toilet...which is just what Obama promoted - the government in everyone's business so they were dependent on them. No more. I say Trump will kick some butt and those who don't like it can go elsewhere. No other country will offer freebies like we do when people aren't working, or enter here to get taken care of. My family is all military and with the way this world is going, we better become strong again, not just great again.

Aint that the truth! - So true...

[ In Reply To ..]
Amazes me how it's okay for all the hardworking taxpayers to keep affording not only their own insurance, food, etc., etc., but all the freebies going to the freeloaders too. The freeloaders see no problem with that whatsoever!

Obama made it too easy for people to get into the freeloading system and now that so many got a taste of the free ride, the majority don't want to give it up. Over time, far less people working meaning far less people paying into the system, only a matter of time before it all imploded.

But why would the majority of the freeloaders ever admit there is a problem so long as they continue to get their freebies? As long as they were getting their freebies, the system was working well for them so of course they are going to fight against it tooth and nail refusing to see any problem.

One big difference between many Trump supporters and many Trump haters is Trump supporters have common sense and can see this farce needed to stop-- even the ones benefitting from the freeloading system.

There may never be a perfect fix, but the current system is broken and needed a major overhaul. We just could not continue on the path we were on.

Thank God for Trump.

NGOs are under attack and they will impact jobs of globalists and their spawn.

Work is a good thing. Jobs Matter. There are people on welfare able to work. Having more than 3 kids and no income is nonsensical. Put pressure on family members (extended) to support the offspring of the unemployed mothers and seniors/handicapped/chronically unemployed is a good idea. If interviews prove there is no family safety net available, a safety net should kick in. Let families suffer consequences of wayward family members, not me.

Waste and corruption is why the budget BHO created has sent US debt load to 20 trillion. Guess what? Foreign nations owe USA 15 trillion dollars and it is a crime that has not been addressed.

What are you really worried about? Jobs created by the deportation of millions and in-sourcing should create a vibrant economy, law and order, responsible business practices and ability to start a new business a real possibility at the lowest level of income brackets. Removing or temporarily suspending tax liens/liens from 2008 economic collapse and after on credit reports is just one example.
