Trump sons costing the country a fortune

Posted: Mar 6, 2017

Every time the Trump sons travel around the world DOING PRIVATE TRUMP BUSINESS, it costs the country a fortune.  Can't wait to see the total bill after 4 years of this.  This is one of the reasons presidents should put their holdings into a blind trust and get their families out of the business.

This is what is referred to as a "drive by" - statement. Say it and see if it sticks.

No mention, though, of the billions spent on illegals or billions lost by the State Department under Hillary Clinton.

Is this how the right is going to defend everything Trump and family do - Use Obama or Hillary. Here is a clue

[ In Reply To ..]
Obama and Hillary are not in office.
No they aren't in office, but - Nn

yes it's how the right is/does defend EVERYTHING trump himself is responsible for. But what can you expect when that's how he's deflecting from himself. Getting kinda used to it to be honest. And I wait with bated breath for his tweets of the day to give me a chuckle when I need one the most.

Here is one article - Resist Trump

but all you need really is some common sense. They are traveling all over the world doing Trump business. There is no controversy there as to whether they are actually doing it. They will receive round the clock Secret Service protection. If it costs $500,00 per day to protect Melania and son in NY, what do you think it costs to cover the two Trump sons in Dubai?

The adult children don't even have to have - secret service

[ In Reply To ..]
You would think that since they are doing family business they would hire their own body guards or pay the money back to the government for the secret service. I don't think I should have to pay to protect and adult child of the president while they are doing company business.

I get the Melania and Baron security, that is normal, but not his adult children.

With the hate Trump rhetoric out there, security is needed. - sm

There are too many alt-left, hate-filled, wingnut lunatics out there. No telling what they would try.

They get protection - old and burned out

[ In Reply To ..]
but they are flying all over the world to do Trump family business. If Trump had put all of his assets into a blind trust, as other presidents have done, his sons would have no excuse to be doing this and even now it seems to me they could delegate responsibility to an agent on site. This, coupled with Trump's many weekends in Mar-A-Lago, are costing plenty and it is less than 2 months into the administration. As far as I'm concerned, this whole sleazy family is taking advantage of the American taxpayer.
LOL, I think the sleeziest of sleezist has already left office - nm

I don't like it either - Resist Trump

but all members of the president's family get Secret Service protection.

Adult children have the right not to have - service. nm

A Loophole In Immigration Law Is Costing Thousands Of American JobsFeb 21, 2015
That's what has happened to hundreds of information technology employees at Southern California Edison. Since last summer, Edison, which serves nearly 14 million customers, has been firing its domestic IT workers and replacing them with outsourced employees from India. In doing so, the utility is exploiting a gaping loophole in immigration law, which Congress has failed to close despite years of warnings that it's costing thousands of American jobs. The Indian workers are brought in ...

My Sons Death On 12/23/09Jan 25, 2010
My son passed away on 12/23/09.  He was found barely breathing and EMS called.  Autopsy showed really nothing and we don't have the results back from toxicology back yet.  I have obtained his medical records and it is one mess of errors in every way possible. One of the things I found out is that EMS did an incorrect endotracheal tube placement in that they put the tube in the esophagus.  That is quite common but usually is found immediately upon listening to the chest a ...

Is This What Our Country Has Come To?Oct 27, 2010
It's politics people.  Someone's going to lose.  There are millions of people in the country who vote.  Every one of their vote is important whether or not they vote democrat, republican, or a different party.  Each election seems to get worse and worse.  The problem here is that this is the first time since any of us has ever seen, that the people are finally standing up and exercising their rights.  They want their voices heard and rightly so.  Our ...

Our Country Needs Help.Sep 30, 2012
Our nation is broke, broke, broke. We are in debt to the tune of over 16 trillion and mounting due to interest alone daily. We are going to be in only more trouble if we keep borrowing to give money to other countries and stimulus bills to create jobs and give to other solar panel companies like Solyndra (latest recipient SoloPower). GM is recalling over 40,000 cars for repair after the losses already taken. The entitlements we have paid into such as Medicare and Social Security are going t ...

The Country Woke Up, All Of ItNov 07, 2009
Call them liberals, call them progressives. Many fell asleep at the switch and the result was G. W. Bush. That caused us to wake back up, though, and take the country back. The radical conservatives slept through the Bush years and only woke up when Obama was elected. But in their sleep, they heard things. And when they awoke, they parrotted those things that they had heard. Not correctly, but what do parrots know? The left objected to loss of our civil rights through the wiretapping and data ...

Why do so many people keep taking about Communism and Socialism. What are they? I say it's their ideology. They both (socialism and communism) pretty much try to control you, and the bigger they are, the more power they are. It's partly about greed and control. The "left" confuse us and make us think Capitalism is greediness, but Capitalism is the free market, free enterprise. Why We're In Trouble In This Country.Aug 25, 2015
We're in trouble because democracy absolutely depends on an electorate that is sufficiently well educated to be able to assess the claims of candidates, to reject the falsehoods and misinformation that political campaigns, their supporters and the press spew into the atmosphere, darkening the sky in an effort to hide the truth from the light of day, and having the ability and the intellectual honesty to objectively judge the character of those who aspire to political office. Democracy is f ...
