So, is he going to

mind on this pick?

I doubt it. But I hope both Trump and Gorsuch - have learned something.

I doubt that we heard the entire context of what Gorsuch said, and that will teach him something. And I'm hoping that Trump will begin to temper his comments. He should have said that SOME judges use their positions improperly to their advance political agendas - which absolutely no one including Gorsuch could have disputed - rather than what seemed to be a blanket indictment of judges (which I'm sure he didn't intend).

You - make

a good point.

Let me say first, I did not vote for him for various reasons that I won't get into. I'll just try to respond to your post.

You are correct in that we most likely did not hear the whole comment Gorsuch made. What we did hear is most likely the gist of it though.

As far as Trump, I wish he would quit going on Twitter tangents with everybody that doesn't agree with him and try to discredit them. If he wants to use Twitter, then use it in a constructive manner. Maybe "I hope the judges come back with the decision that I feel is the right decision based on the facts I presented" or something like that. I think you get the gist of what I mean. LOL

As someone from the left, I may look at his Tweets differently than someone on the right, but I find them disturbing and highly un-presidential.

From the right, I agree with you with one slight - caveat.

We've grown accustomed in our country to a certain style of speech from our elected officials that we might call "poli-garble." It's always very measured, very temperate, and usually devoid of any emotive language.

It's also usually back-filled with what I call "escape hatches" or qualifiers that let the speaker later deny that he ever said any such thing.

None of this is Trump, of course, and whenever I find myself cringing at something he says or tweets, I try to remember that we're dealing with a total non-politician here, and something that we're totally unaccustomed to.

Still, I understand perfectly what you're saying.
and I understand - what you are saying

to a degree. I know politicians play politics and many times there are hidden meanings in what they say or don't say. Then there is Trump, who is at the total opposite end who says what he feels but it is often with "incorrect facts."

I will end my comment with maybe he should make sure what he is tweeting is correct. Every day he is claiming things that are simply untrue. He is at war with the media, judicial system and anybody that disagrees with him. He always claims he knows more than anybody before presenting false facts. Maybe he should put a sock in it and find out facts before blasting everybody.

You have a nice day.
Pretty good advice for BOTH sides - no?

Trump has no corner on the matter of inaccurate facts, fake news, or lies. In fact, you're in more than a little danger here of the pot calling the kettle black, so I'll just sign off with what I've already said.

Hard to know what he intends - Resist

because it seems he doesn't think before he tweets.
