Election after election they get shellacked. They've lost governorships, state houses, and control of the 2 branches of the Federal government, soon to be all 3.
...and they have no idea why. You can sum it up with three phrases:
1. "Identity politics."
2. "Foolish globalism."
3. "America last."
It's pretty easy to predict that in 2018 more dirt will be shovelled onto the Democrat grave and that Republicans will have a supermajority in the Senate, along with at least 2 more state legislatures.
...and this is the part that's really rich: Donald Trump is probably the MOST amenable Republican in DC when it comes to the possibility of negotiating deals with Democrats.
