Hilarious! Trump's been in office only 2 days...

Posted: Jan 22, 2017

President Trump has been in office only two days, and all the butthurt liberals are calling for ABUSING THE JUSTICE SYSTEM by impeachment.

Guess what, liberals?  You LOST!  Get over it.  You can't just impeach the President of the United States because you disagree with his political views and/or policies.

A successful IMPEACHMENT requires:

* Commission of a HIGH CRIME

* Evidence beyond a reasonable doubt of commission of that high crime

*  A conviction

I hope this clears up some of the rampant ignorance on this forum.  Really, to be MTs you certainly aren't displaying good research skills.  There's this thing called Google, you see...

Just wait - nm

I'm not ignorant. I already knew the rules of impeachment.

Put up or shut up.

You've got NOTHING.

He was sworn in, attended 3 balls.

END OF STORY.

So, attending 3 balls makes it not - true?

Trump's scandalous activities will come out. I want to see the tax returns. If he has nothing to hide, why won't he show them? If Hillary didn't show her tax returns, the right would be in an uproar, yet we are told by the right that Trump not showing his is okay and call us names for wanting to see them. It is not the end of story, it is only the beginning.
That's not a HIGH CRIME. - LOL

1) Not releasing your tax returns is not a HIGH CRIME.
2) You are ASSUming facts not in evidence. We don't know what it on his tax returns - WAIT, we DO know that he reported a loss of $916 million in 1995:

"The New York Times published three pages of the Republican presidential nominee’s tax forms from 1995 on Saturday night, including one that indicates the real-estate magnate declared almost a billion dollars in losses that year.

According to tax experts consulted by the Times, that gargantuan loss could have allowed him to avoid paying federal income taxes for as long as 18 years. From the Times’s report:

Although Mr. Trump’s taxable income in subsequent years is as yet unknown, a $916 million loss in 1995 would have been large enough to wipe out more than $50 million a year in taxable income over 18 years.

The $916 million loss certainly could have eliminated any federal income taxes Mr. Trump otherwise would have owed on the $50,000 to $100,000 he was paid for each episode of “The Apprentice,” or the roughly $45 million he was paid between 1995 and 2009 when he was chairman or chief executive of the publicly traded company he created to assume ownership of his troubled Atlantic City casinos. Ordinary investors in the new company, meanwhile, saw the value of their shares plunge to 17 cents from $35.50, while scores of contractors went unpaid for work on Mr. Trump’s casinos and casino bondholders received pennies on the dollar.

“He has a vast benefit from his destruction” in the early 1990s, said one of the experts, Joel Rosenfeld, an assistant professor at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. Mr. Rosenfeld offered this description of what he would advise a client who came to him with a tax return like Mr. Trump’s: “Do you realize you can create $916 million in income without paying a nickel in taxes?”

So, he files his tax returns. And NOT paying taxes for years after incurring such a loss is PERFECTLY LEGAL.

Got a problem with that? Take it up with Congress, who passes and amends laws.
Again, if Hillary or Obama - didn't do it, the right would be in an uproar

I want to see them because I want to see them. It's also another lie he made. He said he was going to release them, just all the presidents have done for years. He also said he was going to not be involved in his business and that is a lie, whether the right thinks letting his children running it is going to keep him out of it. He also thinks running his business and the country is a piece of cake. I'm willing to bet there is some reason why he doesn't want to show them. If there is nothing to hide, why wouldn't he want to show them?????? I remember somebody making a big deal because Hillary forgot to turn some document in, so why wouldn't you make a big deal about this???? That's right follows double standards or should I call it alternative facts?
The point here is IMPEACHMENT. - LOL

Lame attempt at deflecting there, lib.

WHERE IS THE HIGH CRIME?

There ISN'T one. But, in typical lib fashion, rather than have the honesty/integrity to admit it (a simple, "I concede the point" will do), you change the subject.

YOU said he would be impeached. ON WHAT CHARGE/HIGH CRIME?

As I said, you got NOTHING.

The next 8 years will be a blast!!! LOL

.....rampant ignorance.......that's funny. - me

On this board, I have had to correct someone who posted that one had to be convicted of a crime before a pardon could be issued. Not true, and easily verifiable with Google.

A few years back on here I posted something about George Soros and got about a dozen "Who is that?" responses. ONE poster on this forum knew who Soros was.

If those two examples aren't of ignorance, I don't know what is.

Now I know WHY so many of my MD friends always asked me WHY I was working as an MT. As a group, they're not exactly critical thinkers. Now that I've earned my degree, I see that very clearly now.

Hilarious - oh-really

The man will easily be convicted of HIGH CRIMES, tax evasion, violation of the Constitution, aiding and abetting a hostile foreign government, etc. Oh, and BTW, your sharp tongue is no indication of a keen mind.

What are her qualifications?  Oh right, she used to advise her father in business and on The Apprentice.  And she is the president's daughter.  She gets a security clearance and the gear to go with it?  They are running the White House more and more like a family business, and we are all going to pay for it.  ...

Hilarious!Jul 07, 2015
This is a couple of months old, but I ran across it again today, and couldn't help but laugh. Repulican presidential candidates are asked the question "Who do you think is the greatest living president". Note: 'living'. Jindal and Trump both answered 'Ronald Reagan'. Funny both because he's been dead for over a decade, and because they've obviously overlooked the fact that by the standards of today's Republican party, Reagan would have been a liberal. R ...
