Women's protest - really?

Posted: Jan 22, 2017

They didn't even know why they were there, spewed a bunch of nonsense.   Pro-life women not welcome, which made the real agenda even more obvious.

It's what the blind press couldn't see that matters more.  For every woman out there, there were 10 who weren't, and wouldn't have been there if they could be, including every woman in my family and extended family...not all of whom voted for Trump, either.

Ridiculous exhibition of childish pique over the election results.

start to stand up for what we pay for instead of taking all the BS that goes on down there in D.C. Give me a break. Who pays for all those fine folk down there. We do of course. We pay for all their errors and crazy ideas. I hope it continues and never stops.

The protest wasn't about any of that. It was about abortion - and being peeved that Hillary lost.

and that is the way it is. As far as abortion that is everyones right to determine what they want to do not the government. They make too many bad decisions that cost us a lot of money. Lets hope that stops. I do not like chauvinistic men and never have long before he arrived on the scene. Well this will never be settled so just see how it goes.
Are you paying attention? Mr. Trump ran on stopping the - "bad decisions that cost us money"!!

In fact, he had already reined in the ballooning costs of a new fighter plane before he even took office! He is going to trim the size and cost of government, and he's going to renegotiate the disgraceful trade agreements that have vastly benefited a few in the seats of power, while impoverishing the rest of us.

For many women, PP is the only place they can receive essential women's health services like contraception and cancer screening. Are you going to deny a woman contraception and then tell her she can't have an abortion either?

[ In Reply To ..]
The Secret Service has reportedly said it will open an investigation into Madonna after the singer told the Women's March on Washington that she had thought about 'blowing up the White House'.

Donning a black p***yhat, the music icon caused controversy by dropping the F-bomb four times, sparking a slew of apologies from broadcasters airing the protest live.
She went on to speak of her rage at the election result, telling the crowd she had thought a lot about 'blowing up the White House' but knew that it 'wouldn't change anything'.

The utter display of disgusting vulgarity blew my mind. Some of these women denigrated themselves to a level I never thought possible. I am ashamed that some of these "famous and powerful" women are citizens of the United States. Their behavior is shameful and sinful.

This is a repost from a friend on FB and expressed the view of the other - 150M women who did not attend the march.

[ In Reply To ..]
I am not a "disgrace to women" because I don't support the women's march. I do not feel I am a "second class citizen" because I am a woman. I do not feel my voice is "not heard" because I am a woman. I do not feel I am not provided opportunities in this life or in America because I am a woman. I do not feel that I "don't have control of my body or choices" because I am a woman. I do not feel like I am " not respected or undermined" because I am a woman.

I am not a "victim" because you say I am. I AM a woman. I can make my own choices. I can speak and be heard. I can VOTE. I can work if I want. I can stay home if I want. I control my body. I can defend myself. I can defend my family. There is nothing stopping me to do anything in this world but MYSELF. I do not blame my circumstances or problems on anything other than my own choices or even that sometimes in life, we don't always get what we want.

I take responsibility for myself. I am a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a friend. I am not held back in life but only by the walls I choose to not go over which is a personal choice. Quit blaming. Take responsibility. If you want to speak, do so. But do not expect for me, a woman, to take you seriously wearing a pink va-jay-jay hat on your head and screaming profanities and bashing men. If you have beliefs, and speak to me in a kind matter, I will listen. But do not expect for me to change my beliefs to suit yours. Respect goes both ways. If you want to impress me, especially in regards to women, then speak on the real injustices and tragedies that affect women in foreign countries that do not that the opportunity or means to have their voices heard. Saudi Arabia, women can't drive, no rights and must always be covered. China and India, infantcide of baby girls. Afghanistan, unequal education rights. Democratic Republic of Congo, where rapes are brutal and women are left to die, or HIV infected and left to care for children alone. Mali, where women can not escape the torture of genital mutilation. Pakistan, in tribal areas where women are gang raped to pay for men's crime. Guatemala, the impoverished female underclass of Guatemala faces domestic violence, rape and the second-highest rate of HIV/AIDS after sub-Saharan Africa. An epidemic of gruesome unsolved murders has left hundreds of women dead, some of their bodies left with hate messages. Or the 7 year old girls being sold or married off to 60 year old men, Or the millions of women sold and bought into sex trafficking. And that's just a few examples. So when women get together in AMERICA and whine they don't have equal rights and march in their clean clothes, after eating a hearty breakfast, and it's like a vacation away that they have paid for to get there... This WOMAN does not support it.

I feel the same - Liberal at heart

[ In Reply To ..]
I didn't vote for Trump but he is our president (yes, everyone's) and we need to give him a chance. I chose not to march and if we asked 90% of those women why they were there, I bet they wouldn't have an answer that made sense. I'm questioning how many of them voted. Someone on Facebook said that if you didn't march, it meant you supported Trump, what a bunch of hooey. I was actually at work making up time for a snow day and didn't know the march was happening in my town until I got home and saw it in my newsfeed. I think it's ridiculous that pro-life women are not being embraced. I'm liberal in many of my views but not where it comes to abortion. I'm not sure what rights we don't have. Stand up for yourselves in the workplace, vote and become active in your communities, that is where change begins. I have one family member who spent at least $1000 to travel to one of the events, that money could have been donated to any number of charities, even Planned Parenthood if a person were so inclined. I am saddened by all the anger and immature behavior, I have lost friends on Facebook because we disagree and have since closed my account. Please, let's move on. We've disagreed before and we've survived bad presidents without taking to the streets. The United States is strong and we'll all survive. I think it's interesting that we went from Clinton to Bush, then Obama and then to Trump, there does not seem to be a happy medium when it comes to choosing a president.

What was really embarassing was the women who - Truthhurts

were parading around as a vagina! There was a woman who kept running around a reporter giving the camera the 3rd finger.

Yeah, that's really a way to get people to listen to them, although I have to say, those women wearing the really realistic vaginas were done very well, but the women who just had they heads through a hood with pink around their face weren't very artistic. The reporter had to ask them what they were supposed to be. The link doesn't show those women or the really, really creative ones, but some in thelink are a bit creative.

They were so happy to havae their picture taken. Wonder if they are married and what their husbands really feel about their wive's embarassing costumes. I also wonder if they have any sons and their ages.

Older Women Versus Younger Women And Trump/ClintonOct 10, 2016
Women who "like" Trump are invariably older and don't like Hilary Clinton because they were raised in an era of economic competition with each for men. In the old days, men generally took care of their women, and some women lucked out with good men and some stuck it out with bad ones. Young women can take care of themselves economically so aren't as threatened by other women so they're more apt to go for HIllary. Older women also don't like Clinton because she stuck with her ...
