IT TOOK A FLOOD

I lost everything I owned in the flood in south Louisiana in 2016. House, family pictures, cars, everything. I am trying to be strong. I am stuck out in the woods now with no transportation to get anywhere. At least I can continue to work and be online. I had an HDSM that was horrible and now she is gone so I feel a little bit better. I know she thought I was a big cry baby. It is not real until it is your real (if that makes sense). I have been numb for about five months now. Hopefully I will see a light at the end of the tunnel, or a "silver lining . .". However, all I dream about now is a fireman in a boat picking me up off my front deck with just a pack of clothes and leaving pets behind and a river running through my house. Prayers for serenity, please.
