2000 new jobs in MI and OH - plus

Ancillary businesses will pick up also. A lot of the smaller tool and die shops, etc., in Michigan and Ohio have closed over the last several years. This is really, really going to help. Thank you, Mr. President elect Trump.

I have a Chevy Cruz and am extremely happy with it, although - I think it was mostly built in Mexico.

I think the point is the jobs are returning to the U.S.

I think the Honda Civic was built in Indiana. We also have a Toyota plant and a GM plant.

I'm all for jobs in the US but one of the prime reasons - for them outsourcing to begin

with was poor workmanship in the US and very high wages (close to $100/hour) plus benefits. Kind of like rewarding failure, i.e. CEOs and all their bonuses while they run their corporations into the ground and lose market share. Let's hope they demand better workmanship for the wages they pay here in the US. Other than that, go Trump!

Most of the reason was the high wages of the - unions and we pay for that with

the price of cars.

$100.00 per hour. Where did you get that from? - nana7

I know a lot of people who work at GM, Ford and Chrysler and even Mazda and no one makes $100.00 per hour not even with over time. Maybe the CEO's would average that much but definitely not the working stiff. But they do make excellent wages that the unions have secured for them. My son-in-law makes $30+ per hour.

That is what the unions could have done for us but of course everyone was so scared we would lose our jobs so we did nothing and we lost our jobs anyway, or at least we lost our jobs as we knew them.

2.1 Billion.....Sep 25, 2014
That's what has been spent so far on getting Obamacare up and running, including the website, fixes to the website (which still isn't fixed), IRS crosschecking, etc.  That's alot of money - $2,100,000,000.00.  With 8,000,000 signed up, what does that come out to per person? Somebody do the math.....I can't find a calculator big enough - but if I drop the 6 zeros and do 2100 divided by 8 - that comes to 262 - add the 6 zeroes back in - $262,000,000 - is that right ...

BAGHDAD – The U.S. Defense Department is unable to properly account for over 95 percent of $9.1 billion in Iraqi oil money tapped by the U.S. for rebuilding the war ravaged nation, according to an audit released Tuesday. Budget Deficit Shrinks By $200 BillionOct 13, 2012
It starts with the figures released in 2009, when the deficit reached a record high of $1.4 trillion. Why is the column in red? Because, thanks to fiscal years, Obama inherited a deficit of nearly $1.3 trillion from Bush/Cheney the moment he took the oath of office. This year, however, according to the official data published by the Treasury Department, the deficit is 1.089 trillion.   A big number, but going down--no thanks to those helpful Republicans in Congress. ...

The losses would leave $158.4 billion to ...
