I wanted to thank all who prayed on my behalf for a job that I was trying to get, and as of last night, I GOT IT! They called and offered me a position. It is not in transcription (I will miss it, but not the company), and my pay will literally double! So excited and happy and proud. I will not be starting until January, so y'all are stuck with me for a few more weeks, and then I will check back on you periodically to check on my peeps. Again, thanks for the prayers and words of encouragement, but most of THANK YOU JESUS! Hugs,

Just wanted to say, I've been reading your comments on here since earlier this year and think we might've even emailed each other regarding something I posted regarding some audio transcription sites I had found and wanted to share. I think you tried for some of those and I actually emailed you. It's so hard to have any human contact with our type of job and hard to know what posts on here are really from us MTs or "trolls," but I wanted to let you know that I was and am a real MT, struggling along with everyone at MM, hoping to one day get out of here.
Your perseverance paid off and that gives the rest of us encouragement that when the time is right, we will have the same opportunity, as long as we are actively trying to get out of MT/MM. Thanks for sharing and I wish you the best! What a Christmas and New Year's gift (even if you are stuck working one or both holidays) to know that you will be leaving the MT field and MM!!!

I am sad that I had to leave a career I love, but for a company that treated me less than human. Well ladies, I had my first mammogram a couple of weeks ago, then I had to go back for more views, then biopsies were scheduled, and I had the biopsies 2 days ago.
