UN bans skeptical journalists from climate summit

Posted: Oct 22, 2016

It used to be the job of a journalist to be skeptical. ;

Sounds like fascism doesn't it? Sort of like a - democratic candidate who

underwent an extended FBI investigation with multiple federal laws being intentionally broken and clear evidence of corruption and collusion between the FBI and State Department and the MSM ignoring it.

Add evidence from WikiLeaks proving the DNC inciting violence at Trump rallies, pay for play by the Clinton Foundation ad media collusion.

It's not just the UN. It's American media, too.

This is also being taught in schools as fact. Just like - decades of encroachment by

govt conditioned generations to accept third parties like insurance and govt are necessary to pay for health care.

Direct unencumbered doctor/patient relationship goes back to the roots of our nation. But if you teach something long enough, anyone will believe anything.

Umm, ya mean like - evolution?

[ In Reply To ..]
Who ya gonna believe, me or your own eyes?

I think all of us in this country are seeing climate change as a reality. But many want to bury their heads in the sand.

Because some "journalists" are paid well by, I don't know, the Koch Brothers or similar, who have a vested interest in keeping the public dumbed down and presumably have their own method to escape climate change (money is a wonderful thing, no? It can protect you from the very havoc you are wreaking on everyone else), why should they have any part in deciding our future?

I say yay to the UN for doing this. Always follow the money. Those with anti-climate change agendas are usually the ones being paid big money as opposed to actual scientists and researchers.

"All of us in this country" is just an appeal to "crowd" support. - Can you make a rational case?

[ In Reply To ..]
I've not yet found anyone who can do so. Perhaps you're the exception, but you certainly do not do so in your post.

You see, "climate change" is not even the issue in the first place.

Ladies, try not to drop your drawers for Leonardo Dicaprio and media idiots of his ilk, who barely know enough science to boil an egg.

My rational case is within the past 5 years - I experienced a major flood
[ In Reply To ..]
Or should I say my personal experience?

Umm, if you feel you must mark every post as not coming up to your high debating standards or whatever, fine, but I don't see you exactly making your own case either.

Rational case or not, these major climate events are happening with greater frequency, I don't think that can be denied, and I am for whatever we can do to slow it down, whatever the reason.

I am also for alternative energy because that is one of the few sources of potential jobs in the future, although no doubt that will all be automated as well, but still it's better than training to be a coal miner, right?
Seriously, I beg you not to embarrass yourself. "Major events" - have occurred LESS frequently.
[ In Reply To ..]

Someone even wanted to change the definition of a "hurricane" because it had been TEN YEARS between land-falls of hurricanes, upsetting the CLIMATE CHANGE NARRATIVE.

"For most of us, it ain't what we know that's the problem. It's what we know that ain't so."

Okay, you had a flood. It proves NOTHING!! Do you get it? NOTHING!
Like the Democrat operative who wished that Matthew had - killed more people???
[ In Reply To ..]
You people MAKE ME SICK TO MY STOMACH.
I am sure you will be only too happy to tell me - how dumb I am, but
[ In Reply To ..]
How the heck did you get that from my post?

I don't wish any climate event would kill anyone, only observed they are happening more frequently and I believe we need to try whatever we can to slow the tide.

So how does that equate me with someone wishing that again?

Evolution: Really? - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
I'm fairly agnostic on topics related to creation.

By "agnostic", I mean that I consider that there are a couple of believable theories about how I came to be, and some theories that really challenge any sort of logical credulity.

Evolution, believe it or not, is starting to show some cracks - like the main pillar, which is the "survival of the fittest." We have organisms "evolving" that have their own destruction written into their DNA.

But you knew that, didn't you? Or are you just spewing ignorant crap?

Science is always changing - paradigms shifting
[ In Reply To ..]
I completely agree with that.

However, if it's a choice between some version of evolution and "on the 6th day..." I go with evolution and science.

The talking point distributed on Fox was that the summit was "boring."  It is a major flaw, I guess, of this presidency that Obama does not make his meetings on crucial legislation interesting enough to entertain the opposition. Conservative Pundits: Obama Summit Logo A âMuslim CrescentâApr 15, 2010
