As voter reaction comes in, Trump "Presidential"

Posted: Sep 27, 2016

It looks like the Donald took this one after all. Hillary's blizzard of carefully selected "facts" fails to impress. Voters don't want another policy wonk in the WH. He now leads in the electoral college, too.;

With the first one behind him, Trump will murder - Hillary in the next two.

[ In Reply To ..]
Donald can adapt while Hillary is set in stone.

I predict next time he'll skin her alive and feed her entrails to the pigs.

trump will murder...wow - LMT

[ In Reply To ..]
not sure I want a president that will do that, but hey that was your word..not mine. We already know what a loser Donald is... go ahead and vote for somebody who walks all over people who work for him, cuz that is what he will do to this country.

Omgosh the way he kept doubling back on his words..said one thing, then a couple sentences later said the complete opposite...he is a typical RICH for the RICH politician. Good luck with that. Him..presidential...NOT ever.

Guess Trump's eye rolling, smirking, sighs and sniffs - made him presidential?

If not throwing up on stage makes him a winner, there you go.

Trumped up trickle-down economics - ebmt

[ In Reply To ..]
After all we fellow MTs have gone through to help build up transcription services for other people through long hours and hard work, only to have our companies go to crappy voice recognition (which hasn't made ME more money), cut our pay, then retire as rich CEOs....do you really still believe in "Reaganomics?" The rich will NOT trickle it down to us with their tax cuts! That's a joke.
Uuhh...you don't know economics very well to start but - maybe 8 more years of 1% growth is okay with you.

I'll take Reagonomics over the rotten Obamillary economics any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Guess you'd rather exorbitant tax rates? - Truthhurts

You should know that when taxes are raised on corporations, it trickles down to the people in the way of higher prices of goods. That's trickle down economics.

In just the last three years, the EPA has set a number of new regulations that will significantly change the face of agriculture. The coming changes threaten the continued operation of family farms and ranches, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation.

The "EPA is literally piling regulation on top of regulation, and guidance on top of guidance, to the point of erecting barriers to economic growth," said Carl Shaffer, president of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.

Have you noticed the food prices going up? This is caused by the added expenses the farms have to endure to grow and market their "green" products plus including beef, pork, and poultry, who use those products for feed.

What is happening is less competition, less family farms, and giant corporate farms being the only ones to bear the expense. Then, after becoming a monopoly, the prices will be what they dictate. Watch out then.

Yeah, give me some of that deregulation.

With the two cup flushes now provided courtesy of the EPA one needs to flush twice and often scrub.

And one needs to flush always because the toilet does not rinse things enough.

the definition for over 30 years, starting with Ted Kennedy.

All economic activity is trickle down anyway. Business starts, produces goods, sells, grows, hires employees (trickling down because trickle up defies physics). Employee has a job, buys stuff, local economies grow, etc.

The alternative is communism/socialism, which is on the ballot. Business starts, produces goods, sells, doesn't grow much because no one has a job to buy anything due to lack of economic growth due to too much regulation including Obamacare and taxes, no one gets hired, local economies fall, people go on welfare paid for by taxes of those who are working, middle class dies.

How can he skin her alive when he knows nothing? He knows nothing about foreign policy, nothing about national security, nothing about nuclear policy. All he knows about is how to cheat someone in a real estate deal. How dare he talk about the national debt when he doesn't pay his taxes? Don't you think people like Trump not paying his taxes contributes to the debt?

No, he doesn't. - hawkmt

In my opinion - Just my take...

neither one of them were very impressive. Having said that, I DO see what Hillary's track record is and do not trust her at all, which makes me lean more towards Donald. I need to learn more about the independent candidates running and would like to see the VP debate to see how Mike Pence does... I was really shocked when it came down to these 2 main candidates to choose from!

Pence is our governor - anonie

[ In Reply To ..]
Most like Pence here in Indiana as our governor. I am afraid we in Indiana will lose him to DC when we need him here to carry on the good things in Indiana. Not sure I like the Lt Governor, Holcomb. However, I had hoped that Mitch Daniels our former governor would run last time, but his cheating wife vetoed that. He forgives her, but won't let him run for president. That is nothing short of stupid on her part. Who cares what she wanted. We needed some kind of real runner against Obama last time. Sure wasn't in Romney was it? He didn't try that hard either cause he said at the outset, he really didn't want to run.

Anyway, think you will like Pence.

He has been raked over the coals for RFRA, but he has fixed that. Most of us knew what he meant in the first place, but hey you gotta spell it out to those who don't take him at his word.

Another Hoosier. I am sad to see Pence go. We've been - attracting businesses from Illinois

Forgot to say about Pence - anonie
[ In Reply To ..]
Forgot to say that Pence is all about jobs. I remember that he always had a job fair at Ball State University each year and one year I went to it and he was there. I had no idea at the time who he was, but he shook hands with me and wished me well as I went in. I was the only one outside the fair at the time. Then I learned who he was later as his name became more well known. Blow me away, yep.

Anyway, he is what he says he is, for jobs and all that is good for our country as well as now our state.

I like Pence. He seems most level-headed of them all - Truthhurts

[ In Reply To ..]
Even those running for president. He's calm, sensible, and knows his stuff. He doesn't seem to get rattled by all the lies put out there. He should be the one running for president, not Trump. Trump could be the VP and maybe learn the ins and outs of government.

I don't like Kaine at all. I've seen some of his speeches and all he can do is bash others. He's nothing more than a shill for Hillary.
Mike's the man - Rusty

if they wish, and he believes in what I call "Pearl Harbor." IOW, wait until someone attacks us before he'll take action with the military.

I was looking for a decent candidate and he was suggested, but I've watched him in interviews and read his plans and he's way off base for me.

As for Jill Stein, I don't want to vote for an environmentalist who commits vandalism to construction equipment and gets arrested (for the 3rd time). She's proud of that.

I don't call that being presidential material. Someone who loves the environment is okay by me because I love this planet myself, but she's going in the wrong direction. She doesn't focus on the real problems of the world.

It really depends on which media you listen to. - Truthhurts
