These two ladies are great

Posted: Jul 29, 2016

Some good common sense and an irate reaction to Trump here, so probably this might be only for those of us who do not like Donald Trump - definitely a liberal cast to this blog, but what the heck I have to skim through those diatribes from the Heritage Foundation and that awful Judge Jeanine, so about time to spread a bit of progressive wealth of knowledge.

I have not put the entire post - bear in mind the beginning is very good and will make you laugh out loud, so please read if you are so inclined.

Here is a bit of what they say - a bit salty for an old lady, but why not? I have included a link for the entire post and I would recommend you get their posts regularly (probably less than 1 a month usually). Helen is a real firecracker.

"...Trump is partly right.  Evil is indeed alive and well in America.   It’s just not as widespread as he would like to scare us into believing.   It seems to be alive and well in about 4% of the population –  roughly equal to the number of votes cast for Trump during the primaries.   Coincidence?  I think not.   And funny enough, the worst of them all decided to travel to Cleveland last week.

Donald.  You sir are no Reagan. You are no Kennedy. No Clinton. You are no Obama.  You aren’t even a Bush. You are a self-aggrandizing, hatred-spewing, lying sack of s*&%. And yes, I realize that my name- calling is just as bad as yours.  But I am not running for President.  You are.   So be a man and act like it.  Sadly, I sincerely doubt you can.

The Republican Party, the party that likes to think it has a monopoly on God, family values and patriotism, owes America an enormous apology.  Palin was bad enough, but Trump is inexcusable.  I mean it.  Really.

ma FROM MARGARET:

Helen, you had better sit down for this.  I have news.  It’s happened and we’ve both lived to see it. After watching three nights of the Democratic convention, my Howard woke up this morning and told me that he, a dyed in the wool Republican, will be voting for Hillary Clinton in November.

Helen, dear, I have now seen it all and I am planning to wear my Sunday best everyday because i could now drop dead at any given moment.  He’s with her.  I couldn’t be happier.  You should be too.  Have some pie. We’ve got this."

;

Who are these obscure old ladies and who cares - what Helen, Margaret and Howard think?

[ In Reply To ..]
How far can Trump haters reach to grasp for straws and dig for ugliness? Looks like Helen, Margaret and poster have a lot of time on their hands. Maybe they should spend some of it researching Clinton past. (Both Clintons while you are at it.)

They are two old friends who have a lot of - good opinions IMHO

[ In Reply To ..]
Who cares what they think? I do. I like them. A lot.

Again, we are treated to screeds of idiotic links and passages from the Heritage Foundation and that Judge Jeanine idiot and a myriad of others I feel are terrible, so I decided it was about time to put my favorites out there.

Much more entertaining and enlightening I think.

Two old ladies are fun and entertaining? - That would depend on your age and politics

[ In Reply To ..]
I find them pitifully sad and people who follow these obscure old lades pitiful and sad.
It seems there are only old ladies for HC. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Maybe they consider her youthful. I think they're too old to make competent decisions.

Obscure old ladies have as much right to their opinion as - you and their vote as important as anyone else nm

[ In Reply To ..]
nm

I do not post political opinion and do not care about - old ladies for Hillary posts

[ In Reply To ..]
This is a stupid idea to convince posters to vote for Hillary because Margaret and Helen and Howard are. Like I am going to follow their advice or the poster who thought this would be a great way to sway Trump supporters based on semi-senile looking seniors.

You don't "have" to "skim through" anything. - You have a right to be ignorant.

[ In Reply To ..]
Selective sourcing in action: No longer surprising to me.

Hallelujah Jesus I hate Trump praise-de-lawd - I be selling Hillary.

[ In Reply To ..]
The sheer intellectual dishonesty of liberals is breathtaking.

Intellectual dishonesty of liberals or - lack of intellect is my question

[ In Reply To ..]
Really, any liberal who does not question Hillary's background, lacks intellect. It's not dishonest so much as stupidity or perhaps laziness.

Could be they want a vagina leading US no matter whose it is.
I don't have to go to the polls. I'm sending my - va-jay-jay instead.
[ In Reply To ..]
Doh. I'm a woman so I be vote fer da vagina on da ticket.

Doh.

Doh.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. - nm

[ In Reply To ..]
.

No matter how stupid and baseless the - opinion proves to be - like old folks

[ In Reply To ..]
Old people who are possibly senile, possibly with memory issues backing Hillary and we should follow them with our votes for Hillary. LOL

What tired old BS. Others have a RIGHT to expect that YOUR OPINION - is informed and intellectually honest.

[ In Reply To ..]
No one has a "right" to be stupid.
As evidenced in anti-Trump posts - it is pure stupid beyond control of posters
[ In Reply To ..]
I again question how people with any intelligence at all can overlook Hillary's (and Bill's) background.

This proves to me you can't fix stupid.

One For The LadiesApr 04, 2012
One for the ladies One day my housework-challenged husband decided to wash his Sweatshirt. Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to me, "What setting do I use on the washing machine?" "It depends," I replied. "What does it say on your shirt?" He yelled back, "University of Oklahoma." And they say blondes are dumb... A couple is lying in bed. The man says, "I am going to make you the happiest woman in the world." The woman replies, "I'll miss you..." "It's j ...

LADIESMar 01, 2010
So, I was watching a television show.  I guess it's become the new "thing" for older women to prey on younger men, and the younger men to look for "cougars".  Wondering, how young would you go?  One of the women on the show was 54 (she looked really good, but had a lot of work done...) and regularly dated men in their 20s!  That to me is way to young.  My feeling is, if you're old enough to be a mom or grandmother, best to stick to your age "box".   ...

Question For The Ladies Regarding PMSFeb 11, 2013
I just have a question.  I just turned 38 years old.  In the past, with my menstrual cycle, I never had "PMS" symptoms, never had cramps or cravings or "attitude" or anything.  I have noticed within the past year that I have become INCREDIBLY cranky just before my menstrual cycle.  I have noted that within the past few months, it is BEYOND cranky.  Sometimes, I am just so aggravated that I seriously feel like I have so much built in anger that I want to punch a wall! &nb ...

Ah, Love Is In The Air But Ladies, Did You EverFeb 12, 2016
Many years ago I was married and my husband had this thing of leaving, just leaving without any problems going on. No money issues, no arguments, just up and leaving, sometimes for months. I started an on the job affair with a guy, eventually leaving the marriage because the new love was hot, hot, hot! The on the job affair lasted for a year or more, even years later we reconnected for a short period. Fond memories. ...

So....what Did You Ladies Think Of Magic Mike?Jul 06, 2012
I thought the language was a little much....I mean, come on, nobody cusses and uses the F word that much, do they?  Aside from that, I thought the story was cute, and the dancing was pretty hot.  I have never been to a male strip tease show, but I am told that men make more at it than women. It's funny because all of the women in our family, and large circle of friends, went together.  It is really not a good movie for men (even if they were gay).  None of the men, of c ...

What Skin Products Do You Ladies Use?Feb 04, 2013
I have older (40) skin that is acne prone. I'm looking for a skin product that doesn't over dry as acne products can sometimes do because my skin is older and now wrinkle prone too. I use neutrogena moisturizer, aveeno dry skin oatmeal bar, and retin A. I only wear foundation maybe once or twice a week (neutrogena). I know it's the products that are causing me to break out because I used to use Rhonda Allison and didn't break out, my skin looked great, however, Rhonda All ...

Ok Ladies, I Need Your Help. Back At Christmas, My DaughterMay 01, 2012
made me this cute decorated mason jar filled with dry ingredients.  They made it at church as a gift project and it came with an accompanying recipe card that explained how to combine the dry ingredients with some wet ingredients and make some sort of sweet treat.  Problem is I lost the card and I cannot for the life of me remember what it is supposed to make.  I remember something about unsalted butter and that's it! Okay Ladies, What Kind Of Skin Care Regimen Do You Use?Sep 29, 2011
I looking for a new skin care regimen.  I'm 44 and have a round, chubby face which I used to hate, but now realize it has prevented me from getting a lot of wrinkles.  I have a few fine lines around my eyes and those parentheses around my mouth, if you know what I mean.  I'm looking for something to prevent future wrinkles and to work on what I have.  I have freckles and have sun damaged my skin when I was younger, so my skin is blotchy without makeup. Okay, there goes another American job/factory and more people laid off because of someone's "sensitivity." Saw Shrek 4 In 3-D It Was GreatJun 07, 2010
Summer is coming and we live in Florida where it is hot and rainy.  My son was bored and I was too... so we found a movie theater locally which did not cost an arm and a leg.  I took him to see Shrek 3-D and it was GREAT! Highly recommended.  I can see how some people might get a little nauseous with the 3-D because sometimes it is hard to take especially with buttered popcorn in the stomach! But it really was great in 3-D.  It really reminded me of the old "Disney."  As ...

Today's Another Great DayOct 11, 2012
Got the car fixed - several things wrong with it - so hopefully fingers crossed it will make it through the winter.  The whole winter.  And there's another car here, so if worse came to worst, I could take that. Moral of the story - a big stress is when "worse comes to worst" is on the horizon, and you have to live with that possibility day in and day out.  So one aspect of that is gone. Bought a nice velveteen-ish jacket at Salvation Army - eight dollars - it is pitiful wh ...

A Great RecipeJan 01, 2013
A woman I met some weeks ago gave me a recipe for crustless pumpkin pie.  I went on line and found one which varied somewhat from hers.  (She uses egg beaters and Splenda in her recipe because her husband is diabetic, etc.)   The recipe I used was perfect!   If anyone would like to try it (maybe for next season) I will gladly share it.  It is great not having to worry about making a perfect crust, which is not my strong point.   I never heard of a cru ...
