Yes. Soon ISIS will be able to vote in US elections. - nm

Anyone - and I do mean ANYONE - who is in the US legitimately and eligible to vote can obtain the required identification. It's as easy as getting an EBT card.

This is totally stupid, and anyone who supports voting without identification should reflect very seriously about this.

And felons and illegals. - NM

Democrats: Vote early and vote often, even if you're dead - illegal or you have a rap sheet a mile long.

Just be sure you check the name with the "D" next to it.
ESPECIALLY if you're dead, illegal or have a rap sheet - a mile long.

The Democrats would make one of those things a registration prerequisite if they could. Others need not register.

We don't need no stinkin' voter ID! Tell us 50 times that your name is Howdy Doody and we'll give you 50 ballots. That's enough because when we count them they'll turn into 500.

Remember, though - that "D" next to the name. Otherwise your 50 votes will turn into zero.

They already have voted and continue to do so. - Not an alien any longer

Some of my family members still have green cards (Resident Alien cards) and get voting registration applications in the mail along with a jury summons from time to time. Go figure.

Being the honorable and honest family that we are, they just shred the documents, but we all know that not everyone does this.

Federal Court Strikes Down Texas Voter ID LawAug 30, 2012
It was the state's second major loss in court in three days, coming after a separate federal panel ruled Tuesday that Texas' Republican-dominated Legislature failed to avoid "discriminatory purposes" when drawing new maps for congressional districts and both houses of the state Legislature to reflect the Texas' booming population. A report by the Brennan Center for Justice, a nonpartisan legal think tank in New York, determined that new voting restrictions could suppress the vote ...

Voter IDMar 24, 2014
I live in a rural state and I have always had to show my ID (even though those working at the polling place know me personally) to vote.  Everyone that I know has some sort of ID, either a driver's license, a birth certificate, a social security card, etc.  My state does not require a photo ID, although I am aware that some states do require that.  I was surprised to find that some of the most populated states do not require any kind of personal identification to vote.  ...

The GOP's campaign for strict voter ID laws is affecting another voting bloc. —By Dana Liebelson | Tue Oct. 29, 2013 3:00 AM PDT 3   Kheel Center/Flickr Women have been allowed to vote in the United States since 1920, after the passage of the 19th Amendment. But fast-forward to 2013, and plenty of states' laws have a provision that makes it harder for women who are married or divorced to cast a ballot. When Americans all over the country ...

(Reuters) - A judge in Texas has temporarily blocked President Barack Obama's orders to shield millions of people who are in the United States illegally, backing 26 states that argued Obama had overstepped his legal authority. The White House said on Tuesday that the Department of Justice would appeal the action by U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen in Brownsville, a city along the Texas border with Mexico. Hanen has previously issued opinions critical of the Obama administration’s en ...

Voter FraudAug 14, 2016
Myth of Voter Fraud It is important to protect the integrity of our elections. But we must be careful not to undermine free and fair access to the ballot in the name of preventing voter fraud.  The Brennan Center’s ongoing examination of voter fraud claims reveal that voter fraud is very rare, voter impersonation is nearly non-existent, and much of the problems associated with alleged fraud in elections relates to unintentional mistakes by voters or election administra ...

Texas Rolling BlackoutsFeb 03, 2011
I'm on the east coast, and the majority of us use natural gas or propane for heat, so we've never experienced rolling blackouts in the winter.  This may sound like a stupid question, but why are Texans experiencing the blackouts?  Do the majority of businesses use electric heat?  Why would they be using more electricy now than when it's 120 degrees in the summer?  (hence, my stupid question)  I heard they had to buy some power from Mexico.  ...
