I can't believe I agreed with Hillary on Meet the Press!!!

Posted: May 23, 2016

I read an article today and had seen part of Meet the Press this morning where Hillary said Trump should release his tax returns. She's not the only one saying this and I can't believe I agree with her on that subject!!!
Cokie and Steve Roberts also had a good article on Trump and his taxes in the local paper today.
What gets me is the Trumpeters think it's okay for Trump to hide his taxes and it's okay that he's part of the 1% group, but in 2012 they were all screaming about the 1% and how the rich aren't paying enough taxes. It's hypocritical.

I read an article today and had seen part of Meet the Press this morning where Hillary was interviewed and said Trump should release his tax returns. She's not the only one saying this and I can't believe I agree with her on that subjec because I can't stand her because of all the scandals and crooked stuff she and Billy have pulled over the years!!!!

Cokie and Steve Roberts also had a good article on Trump and his taxes in the local paper today. I usually don't read them but I did today (I was bored - lol). They were quite right. Trump wants to be president but feels his tax returns are none of anyone's business. Well, yes they are because it would show how much he earns, how much he paid in taxes, how much he gives to charity, etc. and would give true insight as to who and what Trump really is; IOW, honest or a liar.

I read Ann Coulter on Sunday and I found her quite disgusting. I used to like some of her columns but she's obsessed with Trump. I swaer she's in love with the guy. Yuk!

What gets me is the Trumpeters think it's okay for Trump to hide his taxes and it's okay that he's part of the 1% group, but in 2012 they were all screaming about the 1% and how the rich aren't paying enough taxes. It's hypocritical.

I'm very disgusted with both parties. Don't know if I'll vote this year or go for the Libetarian Party. I just don't want to identify with either party candidate because they're not worth it.

;

Trump produced his financial statements. His taxes are not required by law. - Trump uses tax loopholes created by politicians

[ In Reply To ..]
I use every loophole possible to avoid paying taxes. Do you?

The rich (like Clinton) have paid off the corrupt politicians (like Clinton) to protect their money.

I hope Trump paid no taxes just to show how corrupt the tax laws are to protect the rich with multiple loopholes. I want to pay nothing to the government because it is filled with wasteful programs and I certainly do not want to pay a crooked politician's exorbitant salary and retirement.

No kidding (tax loopholes). The rich also includes Trump or did you forget that? - Truthhurts

[ In Reply To ..]
Trump has also paid off politicians to get what he wanted.

You, defending Trump, shows how hypocritical Trump supporters are....it's okay for him to hide his tax returns but carry on when other candidates didn't want to release them.

Why should every other candidate release them but not him? What is he hiding?

I think he's hiding the truth about what he's really worth. He doesn't want anyone to know how little he pays in taxes because he was someone who pushed for other candidates in other years to release their tax returns. I think his charities will be less than what he tries to make everyone think. I think he has his money in offshore accounts, too, just like people carried on about other candidates and their accounts.

As for you asking if I used tax loopholes...the only ones we use was our mortgage (when we had one) and our business expenses. We paid into the fed and state every year. We never receive a refund.

Investor Protectionism is for globalists at the cost of America - Oh that!

Trump is an American who has made his fortune without cronyism and rascalism via networking in the banker's maze of interconnected main players - the common denominator is missing. Be glad you have ONE billionaire who hasn't weaseled his way to the top with bait and switch or Ponzi schemes.
Good word (weasel). That's what Trump is. - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
If you think he hasn't weaseled his way to the top or used cronyism you're totally mistaken. He admitted that he regularly donated to those politicians that would help him get a project started or help him get over hurdles in zoning, building codes, etc.

Let's not forget who he also had help during some of his deals...the one and only Soros, was sued by the Feds for RICO ACT more than once and in one case paid over $750,000 in fines.

Some things you may not have known about him:
Trump has been asserting his net worth is $10 billion. Forbes and Wealth-X have put it at closer to $4 billion.

Trump has pulled in $1.75 million in speaking fees between May 2014 and March 2015. The most Trump made from a speaking engagement was $450,000 -- putting Trump in a similar pay bracket as former President Bill Clinton, who has reportedly pulled $500,000. Hillary Clinton has reportedly made north of $300,000 to speak.

Thanks to the Screen Actors Guild, Trump will be entitled to $110,228 in pension income.

I did not skip Trump paying polticians. He got "favors" - from corrupt politicians.

[ In Reply To ..]
Trump talks smack but that's his game.

As I said, I hope Trump used enough loopholes created by the government to protect the rich (including the politicians themselves in the rich category) to pay no taxes. He has already stated he pays as little as possible and feels the money the government spends is wasteful. He has a team of lawyers and CPAs to ensure he benefits from every loophole.

What you "think" is not relevant. What you KNOW is - and the only thing I know is you are a typical Trump hater who is filled with conjecture.

I don't care about Trump's taxes and I do not care about Hillary's or Bernie's. Your caring about Trump taxes is just another wedge you use against him.

This is the same guy who DEMANDED to see Pres. Obama's birth certificate -- even sent investigators (he said) to Hawaii and we were all going to be AMAZED -- AMAZED I tell you at what they were finding. What happened with that? Now, widdle baby Twump stomps his feet and is not going to release his tax returns - so there! He must be a joy to live with. If I were Melania, I'd stay on my side of that gold-plated apartment.
Lucky for Trump you are not Melania and she - and his children adore him.
[ In Reply To ..]
It is not a law to release tax returns. It is a courtesy to voters. Now if you look at polls, a lot of voters do not care about Trump's tax returns.

Why do Trump haters keep digging in obsolete dirt.

And you scratch my back I'll scratch yours.

Trump has that relationship with many, many people (he just paid off Chris Christie's campaign debt for example) whose living standards would be severely threatened if they opened their mouths about the real Trump.

It doesn't seem to matter anyway, someone could come out of the woodwork with absolutely irrefutable facts about his dishonesty, manipulation, sexism, etc., etc., and his devoted following would still find a way to give him a pass.

Here's hoping there are more of us than them come November and Anonymous can make sure again that the Republicans can't rig the voting machines like they tried to last time (remember how certain Karl Rove was that Romney won? Hah.) because he certainly has a lot of people totally brainwashed.
Last election was rigged in favor of Obama, not Romney - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
So that's one thing I disagree with you. Lots of articles came out how the machines chose Obama when they pulled Romney's name. Don't you remember that?

No I do not remember that - Was it on Fox News?
[ In Reply To ..]
I know that Anonymous (the hacker group) made sure Rove could not steal the Ohio vote, but I guess you would write that off just like I write off your one.

Honestly, I NEVER heard anything about votes being rigged for Obama, but IMHO that is what is wrong with this country's media, you don't like one viewpoint, change the channel and they are singing your tune (and IMHO BTW, your channel was absolutely singing the wrong tune).

I wish there would truly be a law that news has to be factual, instead of infotainment like Fox says they are every time they are challenged about their monumental BS.

It seems hard to imagine how and why news became subjective instead of factual, but that is indeed why we now have a potential President Trump.
It was on every channel. Where were you? - nm
[ In Reply To ..]
How is it possible to not remember that?
I sincerely disagree that it was on - every channel
[ In Reply To ..]
I never heard of it before and I watch a lot of channels and read lots of news on the internet - however, NEVER Fox News, Glenn Beck, Alex Jones, Daily Caller, etc., though because that is demonstrably mostly inflammatory nonsense which is designed to work their followers up into a lather. President Obama won fair and square, like it or not.

What worries me is most people don't seem to care what the truth is, but it really does matter. The media should be held to a high standard and we should NOT just be told the source's "rating" - if they are lying most of the time (like Trump), they should be told if you lie so much you can't call yourself news.

It has led to a bunch of people thinking that just because Fox News et al says it is so it is true, even though it is most of the time really absolutely untrue.

There really oughta be a law.
Surely, you jest! Irrefutable facts about Hillary's - sm

Why hasn't he investigated it on his own like he tried to do with Obama's birth certificate?

All Trump knows is attack, attack, attack. He hasn't been running a campaign. He's been running a vicious hate fest since the start.

There's a lot of hate in this country and Trump is encouraging even more hate through his vicious attacks on everyone who disagrees with him, just like Trump supporters have attacked me for telling the truth.
Trump is educating a younger generation about - Clinton baggage.
[ In Reply To ..]
It is a CHARACTER issue that there is so much shade surrounding Clinton family. That is what needs to be exposed DURING THE CAMPAIGN.

You would not know the truth if it approached you bare naked. You are biased and prejudiced against Trump.

Post some TRUTH about the Clinton's past and present ethical issues. They are in the news now with investigations of illegal activity in the Clinton Foundation, e-mails still being investigated and from the past with Hillary "fighting" for women, read up on how she reacted to her husband's accusers. Hill-Bill fight for nothing but power and money and they pander to weak-minded people.

IMHO, just like all Trump supporters, you want to avoid truth and live in a dream world.

Just like Obama, people are living on hope and change. Not gonna happen! Trump entered this campaign on a "whim." He didn't expect it to go this far. That's another statement he made early in his campaign.
I am entitled to my opinion just like you - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
If I have an opinion, I have the right to post it. My opinion of Trump is he is the lowest of the low.

If I have research that is truth, I'll post that, too. You don't have any right to tell me I can't do it. Lawsuits like Trump U is true, as are other lawsuits. I try to stay away from repeating his lies like some supporters and you can tell the repeats from the duplicated statements.

How familiar those statements are! They show that Trump supporters aren't thinking for themselves, just being robots like the supporters of Hillary and Obama.

I'm afraid the reasons you give for him releasing his returns (sm) - Birdie

[ In Reply To ..]
just don't fly with me. Why do you need to know how much he earns and how much taxes he paid? Why is it your business? How much he gave to charity? Is that your business? Maybe he gave nothing. So what? I think you're just a trump basher, plain and simple. Give it up, it's getting old. You probably should stay home on election day, that I agree with.

So you think it's okay that every other candidate - Truthhurts

had to release their tax returns over the years but Trump doesn't? He's nobody special and needs to follow the rules.

Oh, that's right...rules are only for peasants, not the 1%. Isn't that what they said in 2012?

Guess it's true since everyone seems to be giving this 1%'r a pass on everything.

I'll be voting on election day. I decided I don't want to ruin my voting record.

Taxes reveal very little. Financials tell more. Let's see - the Clinton and Clinton Foundation financials.

[ In Reply To ..]
All this huffing and puffing about Trump's taxes is very amusing.

The last time his tax returns were made public....sm - VTMT

[ In Reply To ..]
they revealed he paid a big fat ZERO in federal income taxes. The public has a right to know what a great citizen he is who pays his fair share, or not. Is he a liar and a bragger who is only worth a fraction of what he claims? I know it won't matter to some, but tax returns from presidential candidates have become the norm.

TAX RETURNS ARE NOT ANYONES BUSINESS - The norm sucks and Trump is not the norm

[ In Reply To ..]
Why would you pay anything to our corrupt government with all the wasteful spending if you did not have to? Trump has the best tax attorneys and CPAs so he can avoid paying taxes, just like most successful businesses do. The middle class pays the most in taxes because the middle class is not educated or too politically biased to understand what is going on.

Paying taxes is not a charity event. Smart people avoid them. (Education is a good thing.)

So have birth certificates and college records. - How soon you forget.

[ In Reply To ..]
How devious Obama is/was. Why are you only concerned about Trump, but not the Clintons or your home boy? Sour grapes that Trump actually has made money in his life compared to Bern?

IF he paid Zero because of tax laws in his favor, - do you want him to donate money to government

[ In Reply To ..]
Would you care to donate your money to this wasteful government in order to be a great citizen. LOL
