President Trump

Posted: May 4, 2016

Do you think Trump will get out jobs back from overseas? I'm voting for him because I want to feel secure here in the US and because he is not one of the career politicians bought and paid for by lobbyists.

;

You can't be serious. He's FOR big profits and - corporations are "people". (S/M)

[ In Reply To ..]
No way is he gonna piss off all his little rich friends by making them hire American workers and give up their lucrative offshoring bonanza.

Trump is going to keep his word. - Think he is just going to kick back?

[ In Reply To ..]
I think Trump wants to go down in history as the best president. No way is he not going to work at it to bring jobs back. Trump obviously does not care who he is going to "piss off" including rich friends.

Your hatred is clouding your reason. Don't judge everyone by the actions you would take.

I think he's just gonna parade around in front of - the cameras & promote his own interests.

[ In Reply To ..]
He won't lift his little finger for anyone who can't return the favor, or who is less than a billionaire.
Trump's interest is to be the best and that includes - being president.
[ In Reply To ..]
Why do you post OPINIONS that have no merit?

That Trump HATRED has to be eating you alive.
Haha... his desire to be "best" at everything has - overshadowed any sense of reality.
[ In Reply To ..]
He quite simply does not have the tools, either mentally, personality-wise or experience-wise, to be even an "adequate" President. If he gets the office, he will go down as one of the biggest mistakes the U.S. has ever made, and the rest of the world won't have any sympathy for us. We will have brought this upon ourselves.
Do you KNOW Trump? He won the nomination - so millions of people diagree with you.
[ In Reply To ..]
Your HATRED will be the death of you. No one who gets involved with the hatred of an unknown person can survive. Blood pressure goes up. You begin ranting incoherently, You become obsessed digging for dirt. You neglect your home and your hygiene.

Be careful.
I know him as well as anyone who sees him - blasted all over the media day & night
[ In Reply To ..]
can know him without having actually had dinner with the guy.

Millions may disagree with me, but there are BILLIONS (we're talking about the WORLD, here) that would agree with me, and can't stand the man.
Billions around the world can't stand Trump? - How many people around the world?
[ In Reply To ..]
Have you traveled and interviewed BILLIONS of people around the world?

LOL - you are an anonymous poster sitting behind a computer giving your OPINION with nothing to back it up.
Too much concrete thinking on your part, - not enough abstract.
[ In Reply To ..]
Billions is quite a concrete number - and a HUGE exaggeration.
[ In Reply To ..]
Haters gotta hate even if their claims are unfounded, concrete or abstract.
YAWN.... Perseveration too. - Just another right-wing tic.
[ In Reply To ..]
Speaking of perseveration, you got quite a tic - added to the anti-Trump rhetoric
[ In Reply To ..]
You need a nap. Maybe you can come up with something clever - or not. Lefties only come up with more hate for all things Trump.
If "cleverness" is something you seek, you - should start with yourself, then.
[ In Reply To ..]

People around the world are not voting for him - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
And with their choice of leaders they picked they are the last people to look to for support.

Millions of people here voted for Trump. He is who the people want.
But people around the world are directly affected - by the United States government.
[ In Reply To ..]
AND indirectly. An unstable government in the US could lead to even more instability worldwide, which is the last thing anyone needs right now. And instability abroad adversely affects those of us living in the relative 'safety' of the US. We're not an island unto ourselves, and we can't just tell the rest of the world to "Eff-off".
Who says the government under Trump is unstable? - Career politicans who lose bribes?
[ In Reply To ..]
Can the government be more unstable than it has been for the past 25 years with 911 attacks, invasion of Iraq, ISIS threats, economy decline, jobs shipped offshore, etc, etc.

The world is not sitting around saying the government is unstable because of Trump's potential nomination. The only people who care are Haters who believe propaganda and politicians who fear loss of power and income because they are being exposed for the downfall of US because of their corruption accepting bribes from special interests.
It's not unstable NOW... but it very well might - become so if Trump is leading it.
[ In Reply To ..]

What i can't understand is why anyone ASSumes hatred - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
for Trump just because they don't believe his line of crap.

I hate him, I agree to that. I want an honest, trustworthy person for president. He's done nothing but LIE. Do we really want a president that gets his understanding of the government from the NEWS? Do we really want a president who reads trash rags and believes every word in it? Do we really want a president that has no knowledge of governing, let alone handling foreign COUNTRY LEADERS, not BUSINESS LEADERS. Do we want another president that isn't respected in the world...and don't tell me you haven't read sites where other countries have been against him.

Most other people don't hate him. They just don't support his ideas because they know he cannot accomplish them. it's just like 2007-8 with Obama's wishful thinking and promises.

BTW, add two-faced to the list of things I hate about him. All through the campaign he attacked the other candidates, especially Rubio, Cruz, and Bush because they were popular and a threat to him. Now that they are out, he's praising them. That's being two-faced and it's sickening.

Lastly, he has NOT won the nomination. He still needs another 200-some points to win. Just because Cruz and Kasich are out doesn't automatically make him the winner.
Name a politician who does not lie and does - not accept money (bribes)
[ In Reply To ..]
Politicians say what they think the voters want to hear in order to get into office but ultimately they owe allegiance to the people who fund their campaigns. That is how we in the US are watching our jobs shipped off and our economy going downhill.

So tell me any politician you believe tells the truth and nothing but the truth.
That's easy, Bernie Sanders! nm - VTMT
[ In Reply To ..]
.
First time I've ever agreed with you, but you forgot - to add Donald Trump
[ In Reply To ..]
The election should be between those two. Everyone else is a loser.
I WANT someone whose desire to be the best at everything - as President
[ In Reply To ..]
Anything less does not deserve the position. The leader of our country must be the best. After all, look at Obama and Hillary, Kerry, McCain, and many others. They are not the best and they don't care that they are not the best.
It depends on what is included in "everything". - Lying? Bullying? Misogyny? Racism?
[ In Reply To ..]
Devisiveness?
Antagonism?
Threats?
Tax loopholes for the very rich?
Government paid for by big business?

Then yes, I think Trump would be the best choice in order to achieve all those goals.
Oh pullease - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Lying - you mean like Cruz and Hillary.

Bullying - you mean like Cruz and Hillary. There is no bullying from Trump.

There is no misogyny. In fact, there are more women employed under Trump than any other organization.

There is no racism. That comment is not even deserving of a reply.

Deviseness - none with Trump.

In fact the rest of your post has no proof and shows you have no clue about Trump, just the communist talking points turned out by the communists/socialists Bernie and Hillary.

Trump is the best candidate. Everything you wrote in your message describes Hillary - everything.

It's scary that people who believe in the myth - of Trump are even allowed to vote.
[ In Reply To ..]
Far too many shouldn't even be allowed to cross the street by themselves.
I would include the "fortune teller" Trump - haters as those who should need special ed classes
[ In Reply To ..]
What a bunch of idiots wishing for the worst so they can be "right" about Trump.

Seriously mentally unstable Trump haters.
Seriously disillusioned Trump supporters. - n
[ In Reply To ..]

Sounds like you are a left leaner. - Get real.
[ In Reply To ..]
You should hope Trump can get you out of the financial mess the politicians have put you in. Instead you are calling him names instead of the crooks like Hillary who have gotten the US into this mess.
What do Trumpsters even know about reality? - Outside of "The Apprentice", that is.
[ In Reply To ..]

nms
I have never seen the Apprentice - have you? - what a Trump hater loser
[ In Reply To ..]
Haters got to hate something no matter what. That is what I see on this board. People who are unhappy with their lives distract themselves with hate.

Trump supporters sound just like him, including - using his playground terminology.

[ In Reply To ..]
politically incorrect, but it is vulgarity, not what I want in my president.

trump - is full of it

[ In Reply To ..]
He is a con man telling you what you want to hear. Wake up.
You know Trump is a con man - telling me what I want to hear?
[ In Reply To ..]
And the purpose of him saying he is going to bring jobs back is? And you would rather not have American jobs brought back and stick with status quo Washington where lawmakers take bribes from special interest groups to make laws in big business favor, including making it easy to move jobs out of the US to Mexico or China, etc?

LOL. When did you meet Trump to draw the conclusions you did?

Exactly what presidential power....sm - VTMT
[ In Reply To ..]
could he invoke that would bring manufacturing and internet based jobs back to the US? Just once I would like Trump HOW he will do these things if elected. He is preaching to people who are unhinged from reality and have no knowledge of how things work in the government.
Regarding manufacturing he would charge tariff - Not sure about internet jobs
[ In Reply To ..]
Trump did explain multiple times about the use of tariffs regarding manufacturers moving out of the country for cheaper labor in Mexico and/or other countries.

If you think everyone who voted for Trump is "unhinged from reality" you may want to check yourself as being unhinged.

The option of leaving the same corrupt government who created these trade deals is the bigger problem. You do realize that in exchange for these unfair trade deals a politician took money to make it easy to ship jobs offshore, with the latest being Carrier in Indiana leaving for Mexico. They are leaving for cheap labor in Mexico and they can ship their product back to the US without a tax or tariff.

You seem to think Trump supporters are idiots. You are ASSuming a lot. Check his stats and see who voted for him and these are not people "unhinged from reality".
This is the same thing that caused Weimar Republic - before Germany going into a depression.
[ In Reply To ..]
Tariffs.
Funny how his supporters tend to grab onto - one meme & hold on for dear life.
[ In Reply To ..]

In this case: "Did you meet Trump?"

LOL

I am also interested in people who make comments - filled with hate if they know him
[ In Reply To ..]
I mean where are they getting their information that someone a day or so ago was diagnosing him and another poster said "BILLIONS" of people all over the world hate him.

Speaking of memes, the haters pretty much have the same one, looking into the future and assuring everyone he will fail in his goals.
"There are none so blind as those who will not see." - nm

I clearly see an aura of green envy around you. Losers usually are envious of success.
If Trump-voters aren't blinded by hate, then - what IS it that is blinding them?
[ In Reply To ..]
Because we're talking WHITE CANES, here.
I don't hate anyone as a Trump supporter - not even corrupt politicians
[ In Reply To ..]
They amuse me as do the Trump haters. Such a waste of time and energy.

PS: What are "WHITE CANES" you are talking about in your post?
Wow. Why does it not surprise me that a Trump - supporter wouldnt have a clue what - sm

white canes are for. This is truly a case of the "blind leading the blind".

Will he bring back his own clothing line manufacturing jobs? - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
That's one thing I doubt will happen.

Trump loves the green stuff and fights to make more, more, mroe. Greed is his middle name and he'll stomp on anyone who gets in his way.

If he's so much for bringing the jobs back, I would suggest he start with his own clothing line and bring those jobs back FIRST before forcing other companies to bring the jobs back first. The other companies should get in line behind HIS clothing line. You don't hear him say anything about that, do you?
Trump will bring back jobs when there is an even - playing field and all companies bring them back.
[ In Reply To ..]
Why do you keep harping on the past? You must have a headache dredging up all this garbage.
But you see, Trump doesn't want an even - playing field. If he played fair,
[ In Reply To ..]
he wouldn't be in the position he's in right now.
Hah! First time in ages I've agreed with you - about anything, but youre right!

bribes? hello? fact check here - SM
[ In Reply To ..]
I find it ludicrous that Trump supporters continually bring up the "crooked politician" spiel. Big business is built on crooked deals, bribes, shady alliances, cheating, lies, money exchanging hands under the table, everything you accuse politicians of. Do you honestly think Trump's hands are clean? You think he is honest? You are blinded by this con artist.

I agree. A huge ego is a good thing when - humbled

[ In Reply To ..]
you are a leader. You want to never fail and you want to have your people see you as someone they can depend on. You want to be admired. I think he will do as much of what he has promised as he can, given the opposition he will no doubt run into. He will not be a simple talking head like Obama. I think he will be a fantastic president.
Narcissistic egomaniacs make good leaders? - I think you better read up on that.....
[ In Reply To ..]
The fact that he's even running at all, let alone gotten this far, does not bode well for the longevity of this country.

I believe he will bring jobs back. He made a plan - to stop jobs from leaving

[ In Reply To ..]
Here is his idea which makes perfect sense. This offshoring of jobs began with Clinton's NAFTA and continues with TPP.

A chief reason why it’s cheaper for companies to do business in Mexico instead of in the United States is because of globalist trade deals, including the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) portion of Obamatrade.

A central part of Trump's campaign message has been his opposition to international trade pacts that allow products manufactured overseas to be imported with limited or no tariffs. It's a policy position that reverberates with middle- and low- income Americans, who have watched manufacturing jobs leave the country in the last several decades.

"I'm going to tell them, 'Now I'm going to get consensus from Congress and we're going to tax you,'" Trump said. "'So stay where you are [in Mexico] or build in the United States.' Because we are killing ourselves with trade pacts that are no good for us and no good for our workers."

jobs back (which I seriously doubt), anyone who thinks this will eventually trickle down to healthcare and MT work is kidding themselves. HMOs are some of the most powerful lobbyists in DC.

So you admit that career politicians are bribed? - and you would rather have them in office?

[ In Reply To ..]
How very strange that your hatred for Trump trumps your financial well-being.
My financial well-being and that of other working - people will NOT be improved by
[ In Reply To ..]
any Republican presidency, nor a Republican Congress either. So there are actually two factors at play here:

* Yes, I do "hate" Trump, but that has always been the case, long before he ever had any aspirations of running for public office. I just hated him for his rude, overbearing, entitled, boorish personality.

* The other dislike is that as a right-wing candidate, he no more has the working-person's best interests at heart than any other Republican candidate. Their strings are pulled by corporate cash, and lots of it. Corporations don't want American workers because we deprive them of their precious bottom line. They also don't want to pay taxes. They'd rather put that burden on us.

So if financial well-being is an important part of an MT's voting preferences, I have to scratch my head and wonder "WTF?" whenever any low-paid, un-or-underinsured, overworked MT thinks a billionaire-class right-wing candidate that brazenly flaunts his problem with women is going to ride in on his beautiful white racehorse and save her.
I hope you become a self-fulfilling prophecy - and your financial status continues to deteriorate
[ In Reply To ..]
You are at the mercy of a corrupt government no matter what bribed candidate you choose who rely on funds from special interests to fund their campaign. They have sold you out before and will continue to sell you out because they owe you nothing but they do owe the rich who financed their campaign their loyalty and their votes in big business interest.

I remember it well. First off, the business was to save what was left of the economy that Bush crashed. Then they got the health care act passed where millions of people now have health insurance and receiving health care who did not before. During that whole procedure, the Republicans said they would support it until it came time to finalize it and they showed their true colors (snake skin)

Throw in Lily Ledbetter, the H1N1 flu crisis, the BP oil spill, besides the usual business if running the government and international affairs, it was a pretty busy couple of years. (with zero help from pubs).

Trump hires non-American workers every chance he gets? - When and where?

[ In Reply To ..]
I doubt Trump hires workers himself, he has someone else do it including a lot of work being contracted out for someone else to hire the workers. I live in community with a HOA and the HOA hires a company to do lawn care. I have no idea if they are American or non-American. I hired a company to install carpet. They sent out 4-5 workers. I did not ask for documentation of their nationality. I just cared they did a good job doing my carpet.

Trump is not against legal foreign workers. He is against illegal workers here.

Sure he's against illegal workers here! Just - one more excuse to offshore more work!

[ In Reply To ..]
Time to take those blinders off. A vote for Trump is a vote against the best interests of most of the country. Only he and his little billionaire pals will prosper, not the rest of us.
