Without choosing your favorite candidate, who is going to win?

Posted: May 3, 2016

This is like a soap opera playing out.  Will Bernie win against Hillary as more negative publicity is coming out about her?   Will Trump win over Cruz since he annoys so many or will Trump lose because people dislike him more than Cruz.

I have never followed political campaigns so closely as this one and part of the reason is it is really amusing, like watching a roller coaster of events.

Any thoughts on winners and losers?    Will Bernie and Cruz get out of the race if they lose to the frontrunners?

I'm betting on Trump and Hillary - Going to be hellfire if they win nominations

Women cards, Bill's cheating, Trump's bankruptcies and marriages! Who is going to survive the attacks and be president.

The more I think about it, anyone who is running for president needs a mental evaluation. I think they are all a bit crazy, or as my husband says they are nucking futs.

Even though I did not like Obama policies, he always was cool. Watched him on Saturday correspondents dinner and he was actually funny and charming.

Trump, Sanders - anon

I am betting that Trump wins. (I didn't say that would be a GOOD thing--I'm a progressive--but I am betting that there are lots of angry white guys out there who will put him in.) BTW, I am also a white guy and I am not voting for Trump, for what it's worth.

If You Think We The People Are Choosing Our Leader, Think AgainFeb 29, 2016
It is a huge joke to say that we the people are choosing our candidates for president. The media are making the candidates to suit their viewpoints. Most states do not vote till May like mine. By the time I get to vote, it will be the lesser of two evils again. If you ask me, the only fair thing is to put all the candidates on the ballots and let the people in all states vote at the same time. Only then will they not come out getting ahead by these ridiculous polls they concoct. I have ...

Who Else Feels Like Voting This Year Is Choosing TheSep 28, 2012
Well I got my absentee ballot in the mail today and I sat and stared at it for awhile and thought about playing eeny-meeny-miny-mo....both of you are bad so I really don't know.   What scares me about Romney though is his whole deal on banning abortion (I realize he isn't as extreme as people are making him on the issue) and the planned parenthood cuts.  Um sounds like a mathematical equation of No abortions + No birth control for the poor = Increased welfare cases. &nbs ...

Which Is Worse, Trump Choosing To Interview On Russian State-owned TV OrSep 09, 2016
or claiming to be tricked by Larry King into doing an interview on Russian-owned state TV?   Is his judgment so poor Larry King can fool him?  Or is his judgment so poor he actually thinks it is a good idea to go on Russian TV and badmouth the U.S.? There is a frequent poster here that is always accusing liberals of being Marxists and communists.  What do you think of a Republican candidate that is acting as the puppet of a Russiian quasi-dictatorship? ...

VP CandidateFeb 03, 2012
Hi all! Who do you think Mitt is going to pick for VP candidate?  Santorum or Rubio maybe?  I know Rubio says he's not interested, but if and when the call comes, I think he might just change his mind.  Do you think Obama will keep Biden or dump him?  If it dumps Biden, who do you think he'll pick?  Personally, I don't think he'd dump Biden.  ...

To Those Undecided Or Those Who Do Not Like Either Candidate...look Beyond The Next 4 YearsSep 30, 2012
Normally in a democracy the government works to expand its citizens' rights.  Look what has been going on in the GOP held states:  Voter suppression, curtailment of women's rights by banning abortion and closing clinics even though constitutionally a right (at least for now), union busting, replacing duly elected officials with appointed city managers, etc.  It is very likely that within the next four years the new president will have the job of replacing up to 4 new sup ...

So happy for us.  Clinton 49.9 Sanders 49.6 At this point.  Either way either will end up a few delegates up or down--they virtually split the delegates. On to New Hampshire--which should be an easy win.  #BernieSanders   Oh, and BTW, condolences on that Ted Cruz win, but you guys are really stuck on the Republican side.  Don't know what to wish for in that one.   #NotMeUs       ...
