"Donald Trump has said he could eliminate all federal debt in eight years, but his current tax and spending plan could actually set us back an additional $30 trillion by 2026, according to independent analysts."

Who are these "independent analysts" and who - hired them and why?

CRFB is definitely biased establishment - Who PAYS these analysts?

[ In Reply To ..]
Did the budget experts predict anything anti-Obama budget or his Obamacare costs?

It is an OPINION, nothing more.

Shoot the messenger! It is a bipartisan organization and I am not going to research their funding.

DT keeps telling everyone what he is going to do but nothing is given serious thought. How much would it cost to deport 11 million people and how is he going to do it? How can he get rid of the national debt in eight years by reducing fraud and abuse when that is only a small portion of federal spending? The man is so big on bluster and so short on specifics I would think that anyone could see this.
So, you don't like to research? - It shows.

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget is a bipartisan, non-profit organization committed to educating the public about issues that have significant fiscal policy impact. The Committee is made up of some of the nation's leading budget experts including many of the past Chairmen and Directors of the Budget Committees, the Congressional Budget Office, the Office of Management and Budget, the Government Accountability Office, and the Federal Reserve Board.

But let's not believe the members of all the above entities - let's believe Donald Trump!
WHO PAYS FOR THE ANALYST'S OPINIONS? - Did they warn about Obama?
[ In Reply To ..]
You choose to post the OPINION that suits your anti-Trump mindset.
Bigger question for you - How did Trump become - a BILLIONAIRE?
[ In Reply To ..]
Serious thought! Also what in heaven's name is any candidate going to do to fix the economy and stop the illegal aliens from taking AMERICAN jobs?

Another serious question - which political party (composed of corrupt politicians) got us into this trouble with 11 MILLION illegal aliens here and the national debt skyrocketing?

Bluster those questions please. And BTW what are the other candidates SPECIFIC plans to solve the problems we are facing. Hillary is going to "fight" for us? What specifically is she going to do while fighting who?
How did Trump become a billionaire? - old and burned out
[ In Reply To ..]
Do you know? All above board business dealings? No defrauding of those who enrolled in Trump University and invested in other Trump properties? How much of it did he simply inherit?
We are talking about a BILLIONAIRE - not a chump change con
[ In Reply To ..]
Whatever he inherited he grew to billions.

Go ahead and vote for billary if you must. She and her husband made all their money from big ticket campaign contributors in exchange for "special favors" to special interest groups.
All DT had to do - old and burned out
[ In Reply To ..]
was invest his money in the stock market and he'd be a billionaire today.
Donald Trump is not a one-trick pony. - Obviously he enjoys his work
[ In Reply To ..]
Whether it is real estate, the stock market, a reality show or running for president. It's pretty obvious there are some people who enjoy challenges and are not content to sit back and let the money roll in.

to con the public.
You are the public. Have you been conned by a - career politician whose votes are bought?
[ In Reply To ..]
You know what I mean? Tell me who is paying for the campaigns of these career politicians and why are they financing their campaigns? You think the special interests like Goldman Sachs spend millions of dollars financing people like Hillary and Cruz just because they like how they look?

Get real. The biggest con of all is the con government and both political parties are playing on voters like you. The reason they don't want Trump to win is he is exposing the corruption in government and that corruption is on both sides and from the top down.
Why do you assume - old and burned out
[ In Reply To ..]
that I like any of the other candidates? I do think we should get big money out of politics but being POTUS involves much more than that. Not only does DT have zero experience in diplomacy, foreign policy, compromising with others to achieve goals, he has shown no interest in learning anything about anything other than his own ego-driven ideas. I think he would be a total disaster as president.
I think while hating on Trump you neglect to see - the corrupt political system
[ In Reply To ..]
That corrupt system is what has advanced Trump. All the "experience" this corrupt system has given career establishment politicians has not diminished the end result - we are in a world of trouble economically with jobs outsourced and no real plan to avoid terrorist attacks.

So who do you see doing a better job than Trump?
In a word - old and burned out
[ In Reply To ..]
Anyone (except Ted Cruz)
Everyone is taking pay-offs from big-business - and they will not vote in middle-class interest
[ In Reply To ..]
That is why I ask, why does anyone suppose big-business, special interests groups and lobbyists are donating money to certain campaigns such as Hillary, Cruz, Kasich, etc.

They want a "favor" and that is a vote in exchange for funding the career establishment politicians to protect their interests. These career politicians do not give a rat's azz about you or me.
In other words, let's make it easy for even lefties to understand - anon
[ In Reply To ..]
Trump worked his butt off to grow what he did inherit into billions. The Clintons did favors, shady deals, and charged exorbitant "speaking fees." The difference seems pretty clear to me.

And BTW, the Time article cites the results of the analyses of the proposals of all the candidates. I picked out Trump's because his is the most egregious.

Current Pipelines In The USNov 20, 2014
Of interest to those who oppose the Keystone - there are already millions of miles of pipeline in the US from one end to the other.  I have a link to a page that shows maps - the most interesting one is which states rely on natural gas the most.  People in those states probably don't even realize where their natural gas comes from. For those against the pipeline, do you realize that half of it is already built from Oklahoma to the gulf?  Where were you when that part was bui ...

Plenty Of Blame To Go ALL AROUND For Our Current Mess.Mar 08, 2010
This "blame game" thing is positively juvenile. You can trace our debt problems all the way back to Wilson, people, and maybe even earlier than that. There's only one question in the current political season: Is the current administration making things worse or better? ANSWER: Worse. Much, much worse. So, we have to continue to vote the ba$tards out of office until we hopefully luck on an administration that has some guts. There's no other way out of this mess. Accor ...

Upon graduation, they enter a labor market that no longer puts a premium on physical strength and instead values supposedly "feminine" traits like the ability to communicate and collaborate, and in which women are outpacing men. "At a certain point in the last 40 years," Rosin writes, "the job market became largely indifferent to size and strength. From then on, men no longer ...

Every one of them has serious flaws, either of character, personality, world view, experience, or philosophy - and in most cases more than one of these - that I simply cannot stomach.
