Christie probably quitting. I think Trump will get

Posted: Feb 10, 2016

Even if Christie endorses someone else (Kasich maybe, Rubio definitely not), they'll go to Trump because they share several qualities that Christie followers like.

;

Evenly divided? - Not sure who Christie would endorse

I really do not remember Trump going after Christie though so maybe he will endorse Trump although since Christie said governors were better prepared to be president, I am thinking he may endorse Bush or Kasich.

I live in Ohio. Kasich has not solved problems here like he claims and I would hate for him to be president. Lots of unemployment, wages are stagnant and lots of jobs shipped offshore.

I hope he doesn't - I wanted to see a Trump - vs Christie all-out debate brawl!

Trump and Christie never took each other on - Both too smart for that

[ In Reply To ..]
Christie is also smart enough to know he (or anyone else) cannot win against Trump.

Yup but I wonder if Trump gets the nom, he'll pick Christie as his VP - StrangeTimes

Two very strong personalities - both tough

I would not mind if Christie is chosen by Trump as a VP. Christie is definitely not politically correct - just like Trump he calls them as he sees them and does not sugarcoat his views.

Quitting Smoking Feb 01, 2010

Quitting Smoking HelpDec 01, 2015
Let me start out by saying I am looking forward to saying I am a nonsmoker (and saving a lot of money), but I am having a hard time getting there.  I have been cutting down, but I seem to have reached a plateau.  I really do not want to take Chantix.  I have used a patch in the past, but I developed a rash from it.  Looking for tips from anyone who has been there.  Most of my friends are smokers so am not really expecting any support from them.  Sometimes this ...

85 Percent Of Doctors Have Considered QuittingJul 09, 2012
Apparently there was an independent, non-partisan survey done which came up with this finding, which I think is very telling. If the doctors feel this way, Obamacare is not the solution some people think it is. Let's hope he signs it--I feel that he will. I also feel he'd be a strong Republican candidate for the next presidential election. I wish there were more Republicans that were more like Christie. ...

NJ Gov. Christie Vetoes PP FundingFeb 10, 2011
Long time responder, first time poster on this board.  I've got NJA again and finding myself bored.  Anyhow, this has a bee in my bonnet for a variety of different reasons. New Jersey Gov. As ABC not ...

Christie Apparently Did Know About GWB Closure.Jan 31, 2014
It's all over the news and internet. If this does in fact turn out to be accurate and he did know about the clsoure, this is more proof as noted by the poster below that both sides lie. It's a sad fact of life. That said, Christie was never my GOP frontrunner, but I do hope this doesn't ruin him for good. It appears he's done some good things for NJ, so let's hope that will continue if the people there want him to stay in office. ...

Do Not Ask Chris Christie Where His Kids Go To SchoolJun 23, 2011
This guy wants to be President? Sheesh! What a nasty man. New Jersey Governor Chis Christie doesn't like it when reporters ask him to provide details on his meetings with Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes.Nor, apparently, is he fond of New Jersey voters asking him seemingly reasonable questions about why he sends his kids to private schools. He made that clear when the subject came up during an appearance on local PBS call-in show On The Line last night. "It's none of your business, ...

I Thought Christie Looked Different. He Had Lap-band!May 07, 2013
I am the biggest liberal you'll find, but I'm happy to see Chrstie has taken steps to improve his health. Speculation is he's doing it for political reasons.  As a Democrat, Christie is one of the few Republicans I respect.  He seems to show a genuine interest in the people he serves.  Even though I don't agree with his politics, he didn't allow political consequences to come in the way of showiing Obama respect, and he takes a more common sense approach r ...

No Evidence Seen That Christie Knew Of Traffic Scheme -N.J. DemocratFeb 03, 2014
REUTERS,  February 2, 2014:  A New Jersey Democrat leading a probe of the bridge traffic scandal that has engulfed Governor Chris Christie said on Sunday he has seen no evidence to support claims that the governor had been aware of the apparently politically motivated traffic jams as they happened.  The remarks by Assemblyman John Wisniewski, who co-leads the probe, came two days after a former Christie appointee at the agency overseeing the bridge who personally oversaw the lan ...

Romney Thinks FEMA Should Be Disbanded, Gov. Christie No Longer Agrees. SmOct 30, 2012
I'm glad FEMA is here in the Northeast. We have a lot of damage here and a lot of people without power.  Funny how Gov. Christie changed his opinion about FEMA being disbanded after New Jersey got hit with Hurricaine Sandy/Superstorm.  Well, not really funny.  He apparently saw the light. So, if you live in New England or the Eastern seaboard are you still voting for Romney?  You think your state can handle a major disaster by itself?  Think again. ...

Rumors Of Paul Ryan And Chris Christie Joining Pres. RaceAug 16, 2011
Just my opinion, but I think Chris Christie would be better off finishing his term as governor and then running in the next election - I like him, but it's just too soon for him.  Paul Ryan should also think twice about this, as he's not exactly Mr. Popularity, even with some conservatives.  I like him, too, but I don't think he coud garner the support he would need. Thoughts on this - no slams, please. ...

Trump Paid Off More AGs In His Trump University ScandalSep 07, 2016
Current Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, investigated Trump University when Abbott served as Texas attorney general. After Abbott dropped the investigation, Trump donated $35,000 to his gubernatorial campaign. All I have seen is Hillary bashing on this site. Has anyone mentioned how brash, rude, and just plain disgraceful Trump is acting during his speeches? How he made fun of a disabled person, how he is planning on attacking China?, how he told a woman to remove her crying child from the room during one of his "speeches"? Do any of you realize he has no idea how to be diplomatic? Do you realize what will happen to the USA if he ticks off China and starts another war, especially with this superpower ...

I am so sick of how this election is going.  How can any of the so called Senators in this race say that he would not be a good President as well as others in the Washington elite.  I mean look at President Obama, really what qualifications did he really have.  I would like to have policy specifics but as I recall, Obama during his election did not have a lot of substance.  Let the voters pick who they want and let the Washington establishment stay out of it. ...
