Wow, just wish our military HEROES could stay

Suspected as much by Stone's demeanor during the interview after terror incident in France. He has now been in a bar brawl and stabbed. Maybe the fame was just too much for him.;

What was the brawl about? - sm

Is this perhaps a rush to judgment, or just plain simple disdain for the United States Armed Services?

Military isn't saying and probably won't - nm

I've been waiting for this to happen ever since they - released the names. The Navy

Seal who killed bin Laden is a target of ISIS. They released his name and address and made him a target.

He got in a fight near a bar - he's not a target

[ In Reply To ..]
ISIS isn't "here." However, I hear they are driving a lot of Toyota trucks.

Sacramento police, without naming the victim, said on Twitter: "The assault incident is not related to a terrorist act. Assault occurred near a bar, alcohol is believed to be a factor. "

ABC10 in Sacramento reports that Stone was the victim in an assault near 21st and K streets in downtown Sacramento around 12:45 a.m. and that police were looking for a suspect.

Alek Skarlatos was targeted in Roseburg, OR. - sm

I'll reserve judgment about the incident with Spencer Stone when all the information is available.

Shame on the one above dissing a hero. Shows you the direction in which Oblunder has led the country. AND THEY FOLLOW!!!
I was just reading the Sacramento message boards, it - sounds like the perps are Vietnamese

but I don't know. Has the media reported anything? I just got home and found out.
I live near Sacramento, and unfortunately - fights in or near bars in that area
[ In Reply To ..]
near K Street are all too common. They say the assailants were "Asian" men in white shirts and blue jeans. Nothing yet known about who started the fight, or what it was about. They do say that Stone had wounds to the heart and a lung, which is why he's in serious condition.
...and they can't even read reports, messages, or news properly - Truthhurts

They get confused all the time over history, people, places, and can't keep facts straight. :)

At the time posted there was no report, message - or news analysis

And I standby that he looks like and acts like a cocky bully looking for trouble. He found it!

Fort Hood Heroes Finally Get RecognitionApr 10, 2015
Much to the dismay of the Muslim in the WH, the Fort Hood terrorist attack committed by a Muslim is finally acknowledged for what it was: A terrorist act, NOT workplace violence. (Can you even believe we ever had to hear the words 'workplace violence' in this situation?) And the heroes are FINALLY being acknowledged with Purple Hearts, again to the dismay of You Know Who! That, to me, is one of the most despicable acts I've seen in this WH. ...

The GOP Vs The MilitaryFeb 03, 2010
Interesting indeed! From Andrew Sullivan's blog:02 Feb 2010 07:22 pmThe GOP vs The MilitarySteve Benen makes an interesting point: Obama has spent a year following the guidance of military leaders, and Republicans have spent a year breaking with the judgment of the military establishment. It's a fascinating dynamic. On everything from civilian trials to Gitmo to torture, we have two distinct groups -- GOP leaders, the Cheneys, Limbaugh, and conservative activists on one side; President ...

Military BurielDec 02, 2009
I don't know for sure but given the fact that I was married to a military man for 9 of our 18 years, it all sounds llike crapola to me, all coming from her.  The Red Cross may be able to help.  They were our liason when we needed to contact one of our guys out to sea on a submarine.  We were generally not allowed to know where they were at any given time and were out of contact with our husbands for sometimes 100 or more days at a time, so we used them as the go-between.&nbs ...

Have An Older Daughter And I Mostly Stay Out Of HerFeb 17, 2014
My daughter is past 35. She was married before but that ended in divorce a few years ago. I was very at ease when she was married and figured her husband had her back. Fast forward. We live in the same town. She is now divorced and I am her next of kin. I know absolutely nothing about her business, not where she banks, not where she has her medical insurance, would think probably with her job, but not sure, don't know her physician's name, passwords to her computer, absolutely not ...

Need Military Burial InformationDec 02, 2009
My husband's father was in the military and served in VietNam 3 times.  He just passed right after divorcing his wife.  His wife now says that in between hospitalizations she took him to the JP and they re-married and he changed his will (8 days after he made the will after the divorce).  Now that is enough to grasp but here is the clincher.  She is telling the family that the military won't bury him for 8 days (because they are so busy) and after the 1 hour viewing ...

Muslims And Gays In The MilitaryFeb 03, 2010
OK, somebody has to say it. It’s uncomfortable and it makes whoever says it open to being called a “Pharisee,” a “homophobe,” a “bigot,” a sanctimonious hater, a benighted troglodyte, or worse. Somebody has to endure that, though. We need to act like grown up, secure people who can talk about difficult things and resolve them. So, to quote one of my favorites, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, “Call me a relic, call me what you will. Say I&rsq ...

John Bolton: The war on terror is not over. Al Qaeda has not been defeated. The struggle is spreading and if we don’t face up to that reality we’re going to have another attack on an American embassy that will be even more successful from the terrorist point of view. … We have no strategy!
