Guns, guns and more guns

Posted: Oct 5, 2015

Just another accident. Neighbors told WVLT that McKayla Dyer was shot and killed after arguing with the suspect about a puppy. Detectives said they found a 12-gauge shotgun and BB pistol at the scene where Dyer suffered a wound to the chest. So, who do we hold responsible?;

A case might be made, particularly if he used her guns. I hope they prosecute the ***!out of her, and everyone who does not keep these weapons of murder under control. No exceptions. You have a gun stolen, you better go find it. You had better have insurance.

In an online forum, answering a question about state gun laws several years ago, Ms. Harper took a jab at “lame states” that impose limits on keeping loaded firearms in the home, and noted that she had AR-15 and AK-47 semiautomatic rifles, along with a Glock handgun. She also indicated that her son, who lived with her, was well versed in guns, citing him as her source of information on gun laws, saying he “has much knowledge in this field.”

“I keep two full mags in my Glock case. And the ARs & AKs all have loaded mags,” Ms. Harper wrote. “No one will be ‘dropping’ by my house uninvited without acknowledgement.”

Gun owners should buy liability insurnance for potential death/damages - Tree hugging lib

Then when the insurance companies are going out of business because of Universal one-payer health insurance, they can make their trillions off of the gun nuts.

Would love to see the health insurance lobby and the NRA go head to head.
As long as we're imposing mandatory insurance costs on - law-abiding citizens for

exercising their constitutional rights -

I’d like big media companies, movie studios and TV production houses to be forced to purchase insurance to cover the damage that their products do in poisoning the minds of our children and degrading everybody’s life with the trash they sell, much of which inspires violent fantasies in disturbed people who act them out in episodes of mass murder.

I’d like to force colleges to buy insurance to reimburse their graduates for charging them thousands of dollars in tuition for worthless degrees.

I’d like to force lawyers to buy malpractice insurance to cover the cost of the crimes committed by the criminals they use legal technicalities to help evade punishment and unleash back on the community.

I’d like to force the ACLU to buy insurance to cover the damage wreaked on society by the lunatics and degenerates they go to such lengths to keep at liberty so they can prey on the rest of us.

You're only a law-abiding citizen as long as - you dont fire the thing. Even if

you use it in a legitimate self-defense scenario (which is rare), you'll still likely be charged and have to go to court to avoid jail time. Often simply brandishing a gun can land you in jail. The number of accidental shootings and mass murders, such as what happened last week, far outnumber the times when a gun kept for self-protection actually proved to be helpful.
Statistics prove otherwise. - nm

Buy "gun" insurance or pay what, a $10,000 fine? - The left has been proposing

that for a while. I think people killed in gun-free zones should be able to sue the states for not being able to protect themselves.
It works for me. And it's easy to avoid a fine, - just dont buy a gun.

of killing/injuring people with our cars. We have homeowner insurance in case the mailman trips on our front walk, or our dog bites a neighbor. We have flood insurance even if we don't live in a flood plain, because of course if we don't buy it, there will be a 1000-year flood that hits it. Same with fire insurance. People often don't see the risks or liabilities associated with gun ownership, but when money is involved they might be more likely to think twice before purchasing one, and if so, about what kind they get (handgun vs machine-gun, etc.), and it might influence how carefully they lock it up.

Liability insurance isn't going to cover people who get guns illegally, but often those guns are used for different purposes than killing your parents or shooting up your former biology class where you hated the teacher.
So if I'm in an accident and hit by a Ford Taurus, - can I sue Ford now?

I think you can probably Google the answer - to that one for yourself.

Guns And Intrinsic Danger. Or, "guns Don't Kill, People Kill"Dec 15, 2012
If I were at a party, left the adults and put a nerf ball in the familiy room where the children were playing, nobody'd think anything of it. If I put a loaded gun in there, every adult would rush to get it before the children did. THAT IS BECAUSE GUNS ARE INTRINSICALLY DANGEROUS. The only thing that changed was the presence of a gun, but no one would claim it was actually the children who were dangerous. Suicides by gun are much more likely to result in death than ANY of the other usual ...

Obama wants to turn this into gun control and I am sure Hilary will do the same.  The guns just do not get up and shoot by themselves, PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE.  You can have as much gun control as you want, there will always be a way to get a gun.   We have to call it what it is, radical Islam etiology, and find solutions to that problem but I fear we are too late for that as it has gone on for far too long.  I do not feel that it was all because of being homophobic and ...

My S&W .357 Revolver on the table right next to my front door. I left 6 cartridges beside it, then left it alone and went about my business. While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, the neighbor boy across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign near the front of my house. After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there, right where I had left it. It hadn't mo ...

Americans Never Give Up Your Guns!Jan 10, 2013
Americans never give up your guns 28.12.2012   By Stanislav Mishin  These days, there are few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bear arms and use deadly force to defend one's self and possessions. This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, wh ...

I read an article from 2005 about a kid being suspended for having a paper gun in school.  This poor kid is scared out of her wits. Her school mates went so far as to call her a murderer! People better start using their brains, especially these school teachers and administrators. There's no reason for them to make these kids hysterical.   PHILADELPHIA - A mom b ...

Guns In Federal Facilities.Jul 18, 2015
I really don't get the prohibition on guns in recruiting offices, etc.  Lots of federal facilities have armed officers, as anyone who's ever visited Washington DC knows - or are politicians and bureaucrats the only ones who deserve protection?  Heck, 3 years ago I took my FIL to the local Social Security office to file for his benefits and not only was there an armed officer walking around the office, but the employees worked behind bullet-proof glass with a little slot in i ...

I Have A SERIOUS Question About Guns And Gun ControlJun 15, 2017

What Are Your Ideas To Prevent People Being Killed By Guns?Oct 06, 2015
I would love to see something like the DMV for gun owners.  You would: 1.  Register all guns just like cars. 2.  You would have to pass a test for a license to use it.  Including that you are not a drunk, not blind, have some debilitating condition, a criminal, have a restraining order. 3.  You would have to show proof of liability insurance.   Psychologists/doctors would be able suspend licenses but there would be an appeal process.
