BIL suffering pain, numbness, tingling in hands

My SIL called me tonight. Her husband has had prostate cancer and went thru chemo and irradiation. He is taking Gabapentin, Lyrica and for the pain Oxycodone. He is having the tingling, burning, pins and needles in his hands/feet and almost unable to walk because of these issues. HE is somewhat okay as long as he is taking the Oxycodone, once that wears off he is back to his almost immobile state. I told his wife I would get on line to see if any others in our field has dealt with similar issues, any hints at what could he do to make his pains better, just any information out there I could pass on to him. I really appreciate any information anyone could give me. Thanks.;
