Will Republican Party survive The Donald

Posted: Aug 26, 2015

Lindsey Graham stated yesterday that if Trump became president he is going to get us all killed. I have heard this spontaneously uttered by various people when listening to The Donald. and then there is this... http://www.forwardprogressives.com/10-examples-prove-donald-trump-perfect-republican-candidate/#comment-2217700842 Obviously, Republicans have a difficult time understanding diplomacy as evidenced by the multiple wars on their watch, the Congressmen sending the letter to Iran, and their overall reaction to world events, but DT is dangerous. He really thinks it is the Wild West out there and he can just shoot it out with anyone. Maybe he will ask Ben Carson to bomb the tunnels along our OWN border. Gosh I hope those drones don't miss and hit the Bush ranch. So, who is going to be the Republican nominee?;

Typical comments from a potential candidate at the bottom of the polls. - And typical of progressives.

The Tea Party (disgusting And Full Of Vitrole And Hatred) Are Not The Republican Party HopefullyApr 17, 2011
I hope with everything I have in me that the Tea Party does not represent the Republican Party. This is what the Tea Party stands for. They are full of vitriole and hatred. This is not what the Republican party stands for. See comments by Republican Party of Orange County Chairman Scott Baugh, "It's just highly inappropriate, it's a despicable message, it drips with racism and I think she should step down from the committee," said Baugh. "Davenport, a tea party activist, represents t ...

The Base Of The Republican PartySep 28, 2015
At a campaign event in South Carolina on Thursday, Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush was asked how he planned to include black people in his campaign and get them to vote for him. Bush responded, “Our message is one of hope and aspiration.” But he didn’t stop there. He continued: “It isn’t one of division and get in line and we’ll take care of you with free stuff. Our message is one that is uplifting — that says you can achieve earned success.” There it is! If you ...

What The New Republican Party Can't UnderstandOct 30, 2015
I was talking to a Republican this week who, to paraphrase him, said that the Republicans have offered the country what it wants, a woman presidental candidate and one of color.  NO!  That is not what we want. We want candidates who are intelligent and capable. What you've offered us is incompetence and labels. It isn't important to have a woman president unless she knows the issues, as Hillary Clinton does. It most certainly doesn't help to have a person of color unles ...

The Republican Party Left Me This WeekMar 05, 2011
I had been so hopeful that our country could stop fighting and get things done, but the actions of the Republican party this week convinces me that's not going to happen. I'm very discouraged and disappointed. I don't want to be a Democrat either, but the Republicans' actions are pushing me that direction. Independents, do you feel left out if you aren't connected to one of the large parties? Maybe that's what I want to do. I'm also thinking, after this week&# ...

We Have To Stop Calling The Republican PartySep 24, 2012
a political party...they're not. They're a cult. Facts and reality do not matter to these people. They've morphed what was once a political party and blended it with some distortion of Christianity where they support policies that are complete contradictions of the teachings of Jesus Christ. They've convinced millions that the best way to achieve economic prosperity is through facilitating more power and wealth towards the greedy at the expense of everyone else. T ...

Speaking Of The Whiny New Republican PartyOct 29, 2015
Have all of you noticed that when they don't get their way, they throw temper tantrums? They will not discuss, debate, negotiate, or otherwise consider any other view but their own and, if they don't get their way, they take their ball and go home. This is so dangerous for our country. I hope they self-implode, and it looks like that's what they are in the process of doing.  ...

Undercover Clinton Operative Just Exposed; Entire Republican Party FuriousOct 31, 2016
Paul Ryan has been running a not-so-secret shadow campaign for Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton and Paul Ryan have many things in common, such as progressiveness, open borders, amnesty, special interest lobbyists, and global worldviews. None of that coincides with Donald Trump’s “America first” approach, and that is very telling. In a leaked WikiLeaks email, we see more collusion between Paul Ryan and Hillary Clinton. It has been revealed that the Clinton campaign attempted to list a ...

Can America Survive?Jul 27, 2010
Hello to all you great MTs: I am trying to get my hands on the book, "Can America Survive?" It is by John Hagee, yes he is a minister, doctor, author, even termed..great visioner..or whatever. I have read and heard some parts of the book and let me tell you, it is sound, truly believable, and well, scary. It put me in the "know" about what is going on in our world today. I have to admit, I am mad, but I have come to the conclusion that I must not get this way. Who wants to feel this way after r ...

HOW can MTSOs possibly survive this? "Doctors, meanwhile, are selling their practices to local hospitals. In 2005, doctors owned more than two-thirds of all medical practices. By next year, more than 60% of physicians will be salaried employees. About a third of those will be working for hospitals, according to the American Medical Association. A review of the open job searches held by one of the country's largest physician-recruiting firms shows that nearly 50% are for jobs in hospitals, ...

Can A Divided America Survive? The US Is Currently The World'sJun 15, 2017
But America is no more immune from collapse than were some of history's most stable and impressive consensual governments. Fifth-century Athens, Republican Rome, Renaissance Florence and Venice, and many of the elected governments of early 20th-century Western European states eventually destroyed themselves, went bankrupt or were overrun by invaders. The United States is dividing as rarely before. Half the country, mostly liberal America, is concentrated in 146 of the nation's more ...

The DonaldJan 12, 2015
Donald Trump, who has demonstrated a poor grasp of social niceties before, took the occasion of the Paris tragedy to try to score cheap political points about gun control. How To Debate The DonaldAug 03, 2015
This article is amusing. I would hope there is a lot of practice going on for other Republicans on how not to let him get under their skin. They should refuse to answer him directly (which I don't think they are supposed to anyway) and calmly present their perspective, no matter how wild his responses and answers are. If possible, they should ignore him and pretend he has not spoken at all. I particularly liked this reference-- "Other than a dart gun?," he said. "A tranquilizer gun ...

Donald TrumpOct 02, 2016
It was just reported this morning that Mr. Trump made his millions and millions by taking advantage of every tax break and loophole that he could.  That being said, what makes anyone think that if he became president he would get rid of these tax loopholes and make things fairer for the lower and middle class?  We are the ones that have been and are paying his share of taxes he should be paying.  What he is doing may be legal, but in my opinion it is morally offensive. ...
