We could do the same thing to PP as the left has done - to the NRA since abortion has

killed more babies than assault weapons. We could protest these businesses since PP has broken Federal law by selling baby body parts. But most of us have to work and don't have time like the left. Plus the goal is not to put them out of business like the left does, we just don't want to spend our money on things that go against our principle.

So choose wisely how you spend your money.

Planned Parenthood is a good service which I have used myself. It provides clinics where women can get their annual Pap smear and obtain contraception.

I used this service while living in a big city for years. It was convenient, reasonably priced, and provided me with a great service, which had nothing to do with abortion or baby parts. Do you think women should not have any access to methods of contraception and annual exams which are reasonably priced? If not, why not? It's really a good thing and it is a responsible thing for women to do, so it is a good service.

Honestly, I personally boycott Koch products when I can (like Brawny paper towels, etc.) but I doubt any of us make much of a difference in the long run. We had to get carpet and the cheapest and best wearing was the Stainmaster which they own, so was I going to shoot myself in the foot by getting something else (which I could not afford anyway)? The likes of us are little gnats to them.

As far as boycotting based on some of the things companies do, it gets very convoluted, witness Hobby Lobby sanctimoniously not allowing women who work for them access to contraceptives, yet their workers in China have free abortion and birth control and they don't have a problem with that it seems.

It feels better when you put your money where your mouth is, so to speak, so if it feels better, it's worth it, but as far as the demonization of Planned Parenthood, please know that abortion is only a tiny portion of the service they provide, and they do a lot of good for many women.
