Trump is #2 and causing divisiveness

Posted: Jul 4, 2015

If Trump is what the Republican people want, as indicated by him being #2 in the polls, it is a sad state of affairs and one that the Republican party may very well not recover from during the election process.  He is, in effect, putting out a call to the hatred in the Republican party and giving it the green light for the people to express their hatred also.  I don't think he will encourage more to join this way of thinking, they are already out there, but he is coalescing a good opposition, and many who have not been previously involved will step up to stop this craziness.

He is highlighting the negative aspects and the other Republican candidates are being forced to answer to it, thus dirtying themselves in the process.

Most would agree that Trump does not stand a real chance of becoming the Republican candidate, but they also agree that he is and will leave a path of destruction within the Republican position.  He is solidifying opposition to the Republican party, this week with the Hispanic vote, who is next?

I understand that Nascar has pulled their end of year celebration from the Trump-held convention.  Multiple businesses are abandoning him, or anxiously running away from him.

Frequently companies endorse candidates, but usually don't purposesly disassociate themselves.

Republicans may be frustrated with some individual policies and embrace his brashness, but in the end this will be much more destructive than constructive in building a base and obtaining the gold ring in the end.  He is like a troll of the worst kind---and, as he has stated, he doesn't need to be paid.

I don't agree. Pataki called for the other (sm) - Abby

candidates to join him in denouncing Trump. As far as I have heard, none of them have. Trump is his own person. He didn't say anything IMO that wasn't true. He maybe could have said it better (more PC - gag), but that's not his way. 80% of the women trying to get in from Mexico are raped. So who is raping them? He speaks the truth, and he is not PC. That's why he is #2, and he is not hurting any Republican candidates as I see it.

Pataki who? But I guess Democrats have that - luxury since there are really only 2 candidates

[ In Reply To ..]
Republicans have 20 candidates with the top 8 sharing 75% of the vote. (Interesting side note, Walker is polling pretty high for having not even declared...scary candidate, but not as scary as Trump. Also, interesting to me, Trump doesn't seem to have called out Walker....maybe he already knows who the candidate is going to be.)

As to the rapist comment, Trump stated that the immigrants from Mexico were rapists. The issue you are speaking of is women being raped in Mexico trying to leave Mexico. Different issue, but I suppose all anyone can here is "rapist" and "Mexican." Back to Trump needs Comprehension 101.

At least he has a pair, if you know what I mean. He fights back, - don't shop at Macy's! xxx

Well that's 1 boycott against Nascar and 2 - boycott Macy's-doubt they notice

Maybe those who want to boycott Macy's now do - not realize we have been for years

[ In Reply To ..]
Ever since Trump had his disgusting "show us your birth certificate" dog and pony show, there have been petitions signed and liberals have been boycotting Macy's.

Maybe that's why they reacted so quickly this time to rid themselves of his nasty moniker?

Go ahead, boycott Macy's, I for one will go back to them, or I would if I made enough money to ever shop anywhere, that is. At least I won't avoid them now, and I will certainly ALWAYS still boycott anything Trump.

Because he's a loozah!

Could not agree more. See link - Truth

I don't think anyone has to worry much - about DT...

He's merely the freakshow in the Repub circus and I doubt he'll even get a place in the debates when it gets that far. And since the rubes love a good freak, he'll no doubt rake in more millions into his sleazy business empire.

I agree except I think he will make the debates - it is the top 10---and

[ In Reply To ..]
statistically, with as many as there are, he will probably still garner enough percentage to make to 10. As they say, "pop the popcorn," if you can stand to watch the abomination of the electoral system---the Republican debates 2016.

I hope he does make it to debates. He's the - funniest clown in the whole Repub circus.

SEIU Causing Trouble Again-Apr 02, 2015
McDonald's voluntarily raising wages in their restaurants but the workers want $15. Doesn't matter that McD's will also be giving better benefits, they aren't happy. It's all about the SEIU. They want in and the employees have been suckered into breaking the law (civil disobedience according to the police). So, here's my suggestion: Let the federal government set the wages and what it is, it is. Then let McD's tell the employees if they don't like it, they ...

Cold/virus Causing Vile Breath?Nov 23, 2010
On Saturday night, my boyfriend and I went to a friend's house for a pre-Thanksgiving gathering.  While there, I noticed that his breath was exceptionally rank (I could be standing 3 feet from him and smell it).  After pushing gum several times and him turning it down, I finally had to tell him his breath was terrible.  He chewed gum, but it never really got better. On Sunday, he started not feeling well...like he was coming down with a cold.  Yesterday, he felt worse. ...

Recall Of H1N1 Vaccine In Canada Causing Allergic Reactions.Nov 24, 2009
http://abcnews.go.com/Health/wireStory?id=9164033 I have read a "few" reports that this H1N1 flu was a conspiracy (lab made) which would then cause to give the vaccine in order to try and kill as many people as possible because we do not need an over populated world and it would then try and cause a one world order.    Also read reports where the flu is mutating.  Tamiflu resistant in some patients and Ukraine and Iowa are having problems where they are seeing patients with bla ...

Scarier than you think, according to the Energy Department, which claims the holiday squash is responsible for unleashing greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Trump Paid Off More AGs In His Trump University ScandalSep 07, 2016
Current Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, investigated Trump University when Abbott served as Texas attorney general. After Abbott dropped the investigation, Trump donated $35,000 to his gubernatorial campaign. According to The Huffington Post, former Deputy Chief of Consumer Protection John Owens, who worked closely with the Trump University investigation, called the probe “an extremely strong case” — only to have the case dropped. Abbott’s successor, Ken Paxton (who remains i ...

All I have seen is Hillary bashing on this site. Has anyone mentioned how brash, rude, and just plain disgraceful Trump is acting during his speeches? How he made fun of a disabled person, how he is planning on attacking China?, how he told a woman to remove her crying child from the room during one of his "speeches"? Do any of you realize he has no idea how to be diplomatic? Do you realize what will happen to the USA if he ticks off China and starts another war, especially with this superpower ...

Trump, Trump, TrumpJul 31, 2016
I am voting for Trump.  I have always wanted a president who refuses to learn anything about his prospective job because I don't like learning either.  I have always wanted a president who tells me to punch someone in the face because I like punching people.  I have always wanted a president who speaks in language I can understand because I hate looking up those big words in the dictionary.  I have always wanted a president who tells me its okay to hate all those people ...

TRUMP ALL THE WAYMar 03, 2016
I am so sick of how this election is going.  How can any of the so called Senators in this race say that he would not be a good President as well as others in the Washington elite.  I mean look at President Obama, really what qualifications did he really have.  I would like to have policy specifics but as I recall, Obama during his election did not have a lot of substance.  Let the voters pick who they want and let the Washington establishment stay out of it. ...

I'd make up life-size cardboard Bushes - Ma, Pa and Bro.  Ma would be holding a sign saying "Down with Donald!"  Pa would be holding his nose.  Bro would be thumbs-down with a scowl. I'd prop them in a hay wagon and wheel it onto the stage in the middle of Trump's speech.  At that point, Donald would look around, take a long look, turn to the mic and say, "We just can't get rid of 'em, can we?....They're everywhere."   ...

If I Were Trump, One Thing I Would DoSep 10, 2016
I would ask all my supporters to tell any pollster who calls that they support Hillary Clinton. One of two things would probably happen: 1. Pollsters fall for it and get the election wildly wrong. 2. Pollsters don't fall for it and can't make any predictions. Either way, it would be the end of the disgusting, crooked polling business that seems to be more trying to influence opinion than objectively reporting it, and we'd all be much better off without them. ...
