Scott Walker fired by his own

Posted: May 22, 2015

In his two-year budget, Gov. Scott Walker called for a merger between WEDC and the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority, to be known as the Forward Wisconsin Development Authority. Under that plan, Walker called for removing all elected officials from the board, including himself. Earlier this month, Walker scrapped the merger plan, calling for all proposed agency mergers to be removed from the budget. He also asked lawmakers not to move forward with separate legislation proposing the same thing. Though the governor's request came hours after a searing audit found the agency hadn't followed state law or tracked job creation, he cited concerns from legislators, stakeholders and the WEDC and WHEDA boards in his request to halt the merger. Since then, bad news has continued to follow WEDC, the quasi-private economic development agency Walker created to replace the state’s commerce department four years ago. Days after pressing pause on the FWDA merger, the governor said he wants to phase out direct loans to businesses. A Wisconsin State Journal investigation, published Sunday, revealed that Mike Huebsch, Walker's former secretary of Administration, pushed for a $4.3 million WEDC loan for Building Committee Inc. — eventually reduced to $500,000, which was not repaid — even as the company was collapsing. Walker's move to halt loans came hours after the state released records relating to BCI's loan on Friday. Is there one who stands out to you? The constant Hillary bashing and namecalling is really tiresome. And keep in mind, those of us who aren't right wing are not necessarily fans of Hillary.
I believe this is what another poster here likes to call - deflection. I have my thinking

cap on this morning.
Only 1 comment has not been deflection - "Walker is most incompetent gov"

Comments about Hilary in reference to a Scott Walker post are definitely deflection.

Comments requesting info about what a person likes about Republican candidates is more tangentially related.

Interestingly, no one has discussed the topic of Scott Walker's actions as initiated in the thread.

If libs like Hillary, should we answer the question when asked, show them by example, right? :)

I get it, everything is deflected on to Hillary and it gets old, but we have to answer the questions they won't when asked.

I'm not sold on Hillary myself, yet, but I actually LIKE the way she's handling the email servers, it's leaning me TOWARDS her.

I think it's noble of her to let them gossip and vilify her, but not make security lapses worse by being tempted to defend herself and end up blabbing about their content.

Open-book turnover of things may reveal lapses in judgment, but there have not been any bombshells yet and I applaud her for releasing those, but NOT releasing anything that breaches security further.
Liberals are hijacking threads interjecting Bush in almost - every thread if they don't like what is said
[ In Reply To ..]
When posts are not about him. You can't have it just your way. If people interject Bush and religion into everything then it's only fair that people talk about Killary.
Someone said Bush once 3 threads below. Since then, you are the only one mentioning Bush. At least - that's a nice change from Hillary obsessionJS
[ In Reply To ..]
Yeah, Tea Party, you know that Saul Alinsky tactic Dick Armey taught you about, when he passed around those "Rules for Radicals?"

The one about saying a negative 20 times as power of suggestion and it will become a positive in that people will start to believe you?
Yeah, he forgot to mention it only works on Fox News viewers and idiots with the IQ of your average, uneducated, Ted Cruz-lovin' Texan.

Again, Tea Party - less lying, less word twisting, less trolling and saying things just to annoy (in hopes they'll blow so you can report them because there's no rebuttle), less malicious slander, less stating opinion as fact without providing evidence either way, and you'd have more support here than that guy who enjoys talking to himself in the middle of the night as if he's 5 different people.
Not quite - Liberals hijack threads
[ In Reply To ..]
Bush was mentioned many more times. Every time someone doesn't like the truth coming out about democrats they'll interject with Bush this or Bush that. Oh yeah, and now you deflect with tea party ho hum.

Don't know what you are talking about with Dick Army or Fox. I listen to neither. If you think you are offending me or trying to get a rise out of me, wrong. I am not for them or against them.

Kind of hurts when someone makes assumptions, yet clearly identifies they don't know what they are talking about.
I don't like Hillary. - different poster
[ In Reply To ..]
But I guess if she winds up the candidate vs any of the current Republicans running, I'll have to hold my nose and vote for her. Why do you assume every non-conservative likes Hillary?
Half the country is tied ideologically to Hillary, so - it doesn't matter what she's done,
[ In Reply To ..]
they don't care. The media allows the talk just to pretend outrage. It's a farce. The MSM will bait the Republican candidates and their opinion but will never talk about what's in the emails.

I have discussed Republicans here.
I'd rather listen to the Beatles album backwards than - listen to her lies. The Clintons
[ In Reply To ..]
have always put their own personal ambition above the security of the country.

More deflection and obsession. - sm

Almost every OP on the board is turned into a rant about Hillary including a sound byte taken out of context bleated back as if on cue.

Posting Republican deficiencies as they - occur-haven't begun

[ In Reply To ..]
too much on their histories. The threads never seem to take off on actual analysis of the Republican

The continual rehash of emails/Benghazi, Whitewater, Alinsky, is redundant.

The Republican field will narrow itself with these revelations I suppose, particularly since there is no cohesion in the nation at defending any of their own party.

Obama Has Not Right To Tell Scott Walker To Bone Up On Foreign PolicyApr 08, 2015

Scott Walker: I Can Defeat ISIS Because I Defeated 100,000 Union ProtestersFeb 26, 2015
A few weeks ago, ABC News’ Martha Raddatz asked likely GOP presidential contender Scott Walker how he’d deal with the threat posed by the Islamic State terrorist group, also known as ISIS or ISIL. It did not go well. The Wisconsin governor mumbled something about the need for an “aggressive strategy,” which prompted Raddatz to ask what, specifically, that would entail. Walker then suggested “other surgical methods” beyond the airstrikes currently carried out by a U.S.-led coalition, ...
