Perhaps a lesson in anatomy?

Posted: Feb 24, 2015

Idaho Rep. Vito Barbieri (R) asked what we MTs would generally consider to be a pretty funny question, but it made me wonder whether there are many men who really don't know how female anatomy works. He asked whether a woman could swallow a tiny camera that could be used for a female exam. Now, he did state later on that he meant the question to be rhetorical. I'm just wondering if he could have first stated beforehand, now, I know about female anatomy and that it is not connected to GI anatomy, but I digress.  I thought you all might find this entertaining in light of how seriously we MTs usually take ourselves on the Politics board. Enjoy! http://news.yahoo.com/lawmaker-asks-swallowed-camera-used-female-exam-202411124.html;

I find it very scary the Republicans seem to have such limited knowledge on reproduction. To think they are now trying to repeal all contraception from Obamacare (note the above post and this one:

Todd Akin: "First of all, from what I understand from doctors [pregnancy from rape] is really rare... If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”

LOL... maybe he's referring to Karate lessons.... - Phone-Throwin Fool

Anatomy Of A Landslide Sep 06, 2012
In just three short minutes, Democrats handed the 2012 election to Republican Mitt Romney. In a surreal floor vote at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., at 5:04 p.m., long before prime-time viewers flipped on their TVs, delegates split — hard — on whether to include a simple mention of God in their platform, and to declare that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. "Awkward," "embarrassing," "stupid," "unforced error," said Democrat Paul Begala. That doesn&# ...

I'm Watching Old Episodes Of Grey's Anatomy, And (sm)Feb 12, 2015
I can't quite figure something out.  I know about what happened with Izzy and Denny. At least I know she stole a heart for him, but I don't know how.  But my question is, when he was "with" her and she kept telling him to go away, and he kept saying, "I'm here FOR you." did he mean that she is sick and is going to die?  Is that why she gave herself a bunch of tests?   ...

History LessonSep 07, 2012
DO YOU REMEMBER JANUARY 3, 2007??? This tells the story, why Bush was so bad at the end of his term. Don't just skim over this, it's not very long, read it slowly and let it sink in. If in doubt, check it out!The day the Democrats took over was not January 2nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007. This was the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress.The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for t ...

Civics And Ethics Lesson 101Oct 23, 2010
I learned that it is a right and a duty to vote for my political representatives. As usual, before every election there is all sorts of trumped up shenanigans going on to discourage and suppress voting. One that has happened to me personally a few years ago was I received a call fraudulently telling me I did not have to turn in my absentee ballot by the day printed on the instructions.  My vote would not have counted if I had followed that phone call. Lately it is has been: In Nevada: Re ...

jobless unemployment benefit recipients, requiring ALL 9.8 million of them to pee on demand before their checks can be released.  UI checks are released twice monthly, so I wonder if we will be required to test more often than ex-cons on parole.  But they don't want to stop there.  They also are suggesting to extend this requirement to include the 4.4 million families receiving TANF and any and all of the other millions of Americans on social assistance and subject them ...

Tired of the immigrant problem.  Tired of the destruction of their cultures by people who not only refuse to assimilate but demand that the host nation should adopt THEIR cultures and laws. Does Anyone Want A Long (and I Mean Long!) History Lesson On Gridlock?Sep 12, 2012
 I had seen an old newspaper article called "Gridlock shows signs of thawing" by Robert Novak back in 2011 so I've been mainly focusing on finding info on gridlock and the effects on lawmaking, Congress and the Presidents in the past few days.  I did compress the various articles I found, trying not to be partial to one side or the other. If you want to read it, I can post it tomorrow.   ...
