Now I've Seen It All

Thursday my friend and I went to our local animal shelter to volunteer again with the cats. We just love them all. I was walking the hallways and looking in at some of them, when all of a sudden I saw a beautiful black cat sporting a mohawk hairdo. His coat is not short, but not really long either. The hair on the top of his head was standing straight up, and it looked like it was wet or had gel applied. The expression on his face said, "Don't even ask." He was about the cutest thing I have ever seen. Just had to share this, as I have never seen it before! I can't think of any reason the shelter would have decided to do this, and he is well and up for adoption! By the way . . . The shelter has named him Studley McMuffin. Have a good night!!

[ In Reply To ..]A naughty little dog; they may no bones about him, posted a pic of him in a devil costume, and he found a home fast. Anything that finds an animal a home is great by me. I love different cat fur cuts.

[ In Reply To ..]My friend and I talked about that the next day. I told her it certainly will bring attention to the cat, and I have a feeling it won't be long until he has a home. I would be delighted! I am going to talk to staff about this, and I am going to suggest giving some other cats a new look. The cute factor is off the chart!
