Jeb Bush is off and stumbling...

Posted: Dec 20, 2014

This should be an interesting run.  He has been out of political office for over a decade  Lots of time for business shenanigans that will be unearthed.  Was the release of emails a diversionary attempt at transparency?

"All of this makes me wonder: Why is is that the Bush family seems to get a pass on their shady business dealings? Papa Bush was a longtime board member of the Carlysle Group, which, among other questionable actions, did business with the family of Osama bin Laden, the onetime founder of Al Qaeda. And George W. Bush was known in Texas for his failed oil exploration company, Arbusto, which went bankrupt. In spite of the bankruptcy, Dubya wound up making millions when his company went belly-up. Now we have Jeb pimping for Barclays while the London-based bank does business with countries most financial institutions know to avoid."

Are you afraid the liberal media might not do enough attacking of the conservative candidates? You have to get it started? It has actually been a little liberating to see the liberal medial scramble to find something good to say about "their" people lately.....

Great! That all but guarantees another - democratic president in 2016. :)

Run, Jebbie, run!

Not necessarily. - Don't get ahead of yourself

[ In Reply To ..]
It may be wishful thinking on your part, but I've been listening to a lot of political people on all sides and they are saying he could win, depending on who the democrat candidate is. Right now Killary's dirty bones in the closet are coming out. She has proven herself not to be trustworthy and on top of that she just skum, a pathological liar.

It boils down to this...candidates, one doesn't mean the other will win...unless of course they try and pass off Mr. McInsain again.

Just what we need - another Bush/Clinton presidential reign - Truthhurts

[ In Reply To ..]
I doubt that will happen. People are tired of both the Bushes and the Clintons and the more that comes out about Hillary, the less likely she will get the votes.

That's what I think too - Don't get ahead of yourself
[ In Reply To ..]
But whenever people come on and say it an automatic win for one party or the other that's when I say don't get ahead of yourself.

Nobody knows what will really happen and who "the powers to be" have already chosen for the next president. I know a lot of people are sick of the Bush's and sick of the Clinton's (and for good reason). We need a fresh leader in there. Clinton acts as though the seat is already hers in the same eerie Golum-like attitude (my precious). She needs to go back to the hole she crawled out of. And the Bushes need to head back to their cave too.

But no one knows who will win. Just remember that right before the elections all the liberals on this board for weeks had said they knew for a fact democrats would win every seat there was and looked what happened.
But the right wing has become so vile recently - I dont see any way they can win.
[ In Reply To ..]
So has the left wing (one of the reasons they lost), so I do see a good chance they can win - Especialliy with the one keeps believing
[ In Reply To ..]
the seat is automatically hers (her precious), she whose name shall not be spoken (not Voltdmort, but could be his twin). Amongst other vile candidates.

I want to see some fresh faces. I don't care what party they belong to actually, but republicans have as good a chance as democrats. Besides seems like the only ones interested in which party they are are us - they all are in the same party - McInsane and Soros best buddies, Clintons and Bush's best buddies. They all promise you the same things, but never follow through with their promises (both sides). The democrats act as though they care about us, but then go and pull what they have while in office. Republicans promise things and don't do anything.

People need to stop thinking in party line. There is no party, it's all phony. They are ALL run by wall street. They are the ones who put money in the pockets of the policians to do their bidding. It seems everyone already knows that, but the media and politicians have gotten everyone brainwashed to hate the other side. It seems that Americans are so consumed with hating the other side. When the politicians are on the same side. It's just a charade, so yeah, I think a republican has a good chance to win. Also, I heard a political historian say that there never has been an election where the same party wins a third term.

Also, you never know, if the republicans now will get off their behinds and do something good for the country, then more people will vote republicans.

But since it's 2 years away and anything could happen in these next 2 years, nobody knows what the outcome will be in the future.
Examples please? - hard language

Vile is a pretty rough term - can you give examples of right wing "vileness?"

Vile is what the poster I repled to said. - Did you ask her for examples?
[ In Reply To ..]
Plenty of samples of vile acts by the democrats. None you'll like, but here they are:

1. Trying to start a race war and egging it on.

2. This is a good one - "Security is down since we are about to join hands with terrorists and sing kumbahya"

3. Bad economic situation (yes this guys fault, not President Bush).

4. Lies about job growth.

5. Socialism/communism.

6. Doing nothing to end the wars.

7. Enriching his 1%er friends and wall street while the American people suffer.

8. Starving kids in school and showing how little and what she thinks of them, while giving them food that they would not have their own dogs eat.

9. Drones.

10. Pathological liar about everything they say.

11. Putting Debbie Dirty Hair Whatshername as their leader with her pathological liar status.

12. Benghazi.

And the list goes on and on and on. Would you like more examples? I've got the day off but I'd rather spend my time doing other things. You don't need to respond back trying to blame all these issues on Bush, because that won't work.
Actually, I feel "vile" is a pretty "conservative" - description.

[ In Reply To ..]
thought there was going to be a sweeping win. You must have this board confused with some other board. The liberals on this board knew that it was midterm election in which the Democrats never do well because the young, minorities, and women do not turn out to vote. Also with the gerrymandering the Republicans have done, as well as all of their other dirty tricks, there was no way for "a win". However, my State did keep the nasty corporate extremist Republicans out, thank goodness.
Nice try....you need to look up the past responses - on this board
[ In Reply To ..]
Now that they lost the tune is changed and nobody is admitting to what they wrote.

However, for months we kept reading that there was no way republicans would win, it was going to be a democrat win "hands down". The whole country is going to go democrat, etc, etc.

No, not confused with any other board, since I don't read other boards. Ohhhh, that is so, so, so not even a nice try.

The liberals on this board did not know that democrats would not win and nothing was written of that until the democrats started losing. Then they changes their tune and tried to make it out that they never do well because of this or that.

Besides the young, minorites, and women do turn out to vote.

No matter how many dirty tricks the democrats tried to pull thank God Americans knew better.

I don't know what state you were in but I'm thankful the extremist nasty democrats with all their lies, bribery, and other nasty foul and vile tricks the democrats tried pulling did not work.

I am sick of the Bush/Clinton political machine.

TP Gets Its Wish--Thanks To Bush's Tax Cuts.Aug 05, 2011
Quote from S&P on downgrade: Compared with previous projections, our revised base case scenario now assumes that the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts, due to expire by the end of 2012,remain in place. That Bush Guy--not So Bad AfterallNov 09, 2010
WASHINGTON -- The conventional wisdom, at least in some parts of the political press, held that President George W. Bush did the Democrats a disservice by not launching his book tour before the 2010 elections. The thought process being that a reminder of the follies of his administration would have caused series headaches for the Republican Party, which was pledging that they had moved beyond the Bush years. On at least one policy front, however, it seems likely that the Obama White House would ...

Jeb Bush Said He Was Running For PresidentMay 28, 2015
I know it is really difficult for Republicans to realize this, but you don't get to play both sides of the line and get away with it, at least in this much of the limelight.
