Not only that but I heard the first nurse's boyfriend - possibly admitted to hospital

[ In Reply To ..]
Everyone involved really needs to be quarantined, if not this is never going to get under control. Really bad and getting worse it seems.

I hadn't heard about that! - I live in the area where

the second nurse visited. She is from here and was visiting family. It makes you wonder if she was at the same grocery store etc. when I was there. I know it is unlikely, and even more unlikely that the virus would spread even if she was, but I still wonder about it.

nurses - PSue

The nurses seem to be young, healthy, and hopefully will pull through and do well. The first nurse is reported to be in good condition.

What unbelievably irresponsible behavior! - Hope all the passengers sue her

I am waiting for the hospital to start going on about how noble and dedicated she is.

What kind of person would knowingly expose two planeloads of people and their own family, plus probably a church, friends, and who knows who else, to a deadly disease? Even just exposing them to the stress of fearing it is horrible.

This is why they locked up TB patients.

CNN is reporting she had permission - to fly from CDC.

[ In Reply To ..]
The CDC is the irresponsible party. That doctor needs to step down. When you hear experts arguing about something such as Ebola, how can any of us feel safe? Who do we believe?

She knew she had a temp, called the CDC to ask - if she should fly, she knew better

[ In Reply To ..]
I know just like the people here that an elevated temp is 1 symptom of Ebola and she as a nurse surely knew, why else call the CDC and ask permission or should she? I have no words to state on this. I just wish they would stop the traffic into America for now, quarantine the entire US against the possibility of another person entering who is carrying Ebola. The US has this plan in mind so why not carry thru with it for now. Just checking temps and asking have they been around any others with Ebola will not do it. First contact apparently you are not running a fever, takes a few days and then contagious. Very scary.

Going From Night Person To Morning Person - Not E-zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzNov 04, 2013
I keep waking up at 4:30 am - a job I'm just training for (a low-stress job and only 1 marathon week a month!) starts at 6 am.  So I'm trying to be a morning person.  Constitutionally I really don't like the idea of going to bed at 9 pm, or 10 pm.  Although I have more energy during the day when I follow a morning schedule. I'm afraid to read a book now, I think if I do I will fall asleep instantly.  The night is young!  ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... ...

Communication And Ebola Patient In DallasOct 01, 2014
Today's Ebola news shocker (not!!) is that information obtained from a diligent and thorough nurse failed to make into clinical decision making, and the patient was sent home with antibiotics for undiscovered Ebola. Properly handled, the patient would have gone into isolation at that time, and been treated with appropriate supportive measures, and not spent 2 additional days exposing others to the virus. If many more Ebola cases occur as a result of this totally commonplace error on the p ...
