Dopehead doesn't have a strategy yet (sm)

Posted: Aug 28, 2014

Same ole, same ole nothingness.  ISIL, ISIS, back and forth he went, always with his "range of options" or "array of options", oh, and BTW, who dresses him?  His tie didn't go with his brand spankin new suit.

He's very careful to say ISIL and not ISIS....... - nm

given the speech on an aircraft carrier in front of a patriotic banner with a deceitful tagline like "Mission Accomplished" in all capitals. Would that make you feel all secure and less afraid?

Assuming you know the strategy or lack thereof of the POTUS is more a reflection on your level of intelligence rather than his, and complaining about his clothes is a nice touch.

You have succeeded in your efforts to make someone look ignorant, it's just not who you think it is.

Nope, none needed. A lie is a lie - all parties do it.

Doesn't make it right.

Don't know what's worse...this president and the last president lying or the people who believe it's not okay if a republican lies, but its okay if a democrat does.
Nobody suggested any of that except you. - sm

I was merely making the point that the word "honesty" actually is in his vocabulary, and there is a huge difference between Obama and Bush. There's no such thing as a politician who does not lie or stretch the truth, and why in the world people hold him to a higher standard that no politician in either party could meet is beyond me, particularly after the previous administration and their setting new records for their level of "honesty."

I actually liked his suit and colors. - NPC

[ In Reply To ..]
The ONLY thing positive I can say about him is that he looks nice in a suit. He's got a good tailor, especially since he seems to be losing so much weight.

I agree - I don't get why everyone was ragging on - his suit.

they'll attack ANYTHING about the man.

Just look at this page. There is so much hatred here that it almost takes me down with them, but it's just too evil. I feel as if it's going to just catch fire and implode!

I'm actually starting to feel sorry for them. It takes a lot of negative energy to carry around so MUCH hatred and vitriol in their souls. I can't even imagine hating someone with so much bitterness, and I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.
Please pray for your side, too. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
There are some very intelligent liberals on this board who make sense until they go into their negative whiny rants and spew out hatred. They lose all credibility the instant that happens. If they could just make their point without editorializing, we would all be better off, and I mean both sides!
This sounds like a case of truth hurting. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Let me interject a little truth that deserves rumination if we'd care to allow a nice moment of introspective honesty, and that fact would be this: If one frequents a political chat board that is daily filled with negative whiny rants and hatred directed towards one party's leader from others, there just might be from time to time a little blowback in the other direction. After that inevitably happens, it is not an altogether wise idea to complain to those "very intelligent liberals" that they are the ones who are unbelievable because they are being "negative." For truly if one actually does "lose all credibility" the "instant" they post "whiny rants and spew out hatred," then perhaps this political chat board is full of incredible original posts.

In conclusion: Whiny posts attempting to stop the "editorializing" and rally the other "side" in prayer against themselves for some of their own posts is about the silliest idea I believe I've ever seen on a political chat board.
Bravo - Giving your post 100 likes - You nailed it right on the head! Thanks

Not sure about the first part of your post because actually I have failed to see many posts wanting to discuss issues. Maybe a handful. Most of them want to cut down anyone who doesn't belong to their club.
We see the evil hate tenfold towards republicans, tea party and Bush here - Mrs. Tingles - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
There is a difference between not agreeing with issues and hate. You do know there is a difference don't you?

You want to talk about "negative energy", "so MUCH hatred and vitriol in their souls", then we can discuss the posts directed at the republicans, tea party, people who believe in God, people who believe there are demons, any republican governor (did ya see that whole thread?). Let's see.... Perry, Cruz, Bush, etc etc etc. Now that's the hate I've been reading for weeks on end and it's only getting worse the closer elections are upon us. We are called uneducated, stupid, and ridiculed and people think that is "cute" giving the high five to the other posters who insult.

So people are upset with the issues that are going on under Obama and when they write about them we hear the whining of oooooh, oh I'm so offended someone said something not positive about our fave.

Sheesh!
Not only that, Mrs. Tingles, but if ISIS wore (sm) - Abby

I was just furious by all the disrespect. There is just such profound hatred. They can't attack him on anything of substance so they take personal attacks on clothing, etc. To suggest he is high on drugs just put me over the top.

Because they have a lack of substance to attack him on - They attach his suit?

and yet they want to talk about the serious issues facing the country?

The Republican StrategyFeb 19, 2010
It takes awhile to make sense of the entrails of the Republican Party, partly because they are just so toxic, but also because it's actually difficult to comprehend that an American political party can so deliberately sabotage its own government and nation. But after observing their behavior and their policy of, "Just Say No" -- sometimes to their own suggestions, one can only surmise that they long ago left the business of governing and have instead agreed to a covert game plan of destruc ...

Strategy - Good ArticleMay 24, 2010
This article is dated 5/24 and I don't see anything here regarding it.  I just read it and thought it was a pretty good analysis.  I do think campaigning against Bush is a wrong move.  Especially for someone who keeps claiming to be a forward thinker.  I've never heard this administration take blame for any of the decisions they are making.  Just whenever something they do backfires, their solution is to blame Bush.  I think Americans are smart enough and ...

Weird Democratic Strategy ...maybe? Jun 23, 2014
Has anyone else noticed the new Democrat strategy of trying to connect with the people in this country not making a million or more a year?  Hilary did the "we were broke when we left the White House" story and now Biden is thanking us for taking care of him? Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing ANY politician does or says is not part of a grand scheme.  It just really angers me that they pretend to even start to know how it is to live paycheck to paycheck and want us to feel sorry ...

One Of The Most Serious Deficits In Obama's ISIS Strategy.Mar 25, 2016
We all know that Obama has an almost pathological aversion to prisoners when it comes to terrorists. You don't get intel from dead bodies.  Capture is ALWAYS preferable, especially when it comes to people in high positions, to killing them with drones and special raids.  So, they're bragging about killing the ISIS "#2" guy.  Don't brag, Obama.  We've shown time and time again that these people are merely replaced.  If you'd captured him, I' ...

Operation Overlord, the most successful amphibious invasion in history, was in no small part successful due to the most effective deception and disinformation campaign in history. The key to the Allies completely fooling the Germans as to the real location of the invasion (Normandy) as opposed to where Adolf Hitler thought the troops would land (Calais)—thus meaning all the German generals who wanted their jobs had to think that as well—was the Allies knew what Hitler believed and just playe ...

Senate To Grill Administration On ISIS StrategyNov 11, 2014
President Obama, in that post-shellacking Nov. 5 press conference, said he was “going to begin engaging Congress over a new authorization to use military force (AUMF) against ISIL,” also known as Islamic State, and stop relying on law passed after 9/11 to justify the latest combat. It’s something he said he’d do nearly 18 months ago, but neither Obama nor Congress made a significant move. No hearings were held. But after the news conference — seven weeks after ...

1.  The deficit has grown mostly because of the recession. (The deficit has ballooned not because of specific spending measures, but because of the recession.  The deficit more than doubled between 2008 and 2009 as the economy was in free fall and laid-off workers paid less in taxes and needed more benefits.  The deficit then shrank in 2010 and 2011.) 2.  The stimulus cost much less than Bush's wars and tax cuts.  (Republicans frequently have blamed the $787 billio ...
