Sadly, I am not surprised.

There were more White House officials at Michael Brown's funeral than there were at Margaret Thatcher's.

;

I am not surprised also that - there were NO Republicans

In fact, even the blue dog governor was too cowardly to show up. He must believe he has enough voters who see things his way, but I hope like heck that they signed up a lot of NEW voters to vote DINOs like him out and true representatives of the community in.

I guess the Republicans (according to the clueless Fox morning guy Steve) don't believe that Michael Brown's characterization as an unarmed teenager was correct. Really? He was unarmed. He was a teenager.

Keep polishing that great image you have with African Americans and minorities, Republicans and Fox Republican TV Channel. Those of you bewildered as to how President Obama got elected twice, imagine, if you will, you are African American, then imagine you would vote for people represented by the odious Fox News.

They are not trying, they never will, I guess.

Don't forget the general killed in Afghan last week. - nobody home for that one.

Well, there he goes again, - Thanks Obama!

There goes Obama being more focused on domestic affairs than on whether or not "mother England" got her feelings hurt at Maggie's funeral. You might recall the Boston Marathon bombing issue going on in this country during that time?

Also notably absent at Margaret's funeral were her good friends Hosni Mubarak, Muammar Gaddafi, and Saddam Hussein. Hosni was busy serving life imprisonment, and sadly her other two besties had preceded her in death.

no intelligent discussion about the issues of our time to be had on this board.  It's no wonder the government can't come together.  We are the ones being divided and we can't even discuss a topic intelligently and calmly for the betterment of all of us.  That says a lot. ...

Why Would We Be Surprised?Mar 29, 2010
US healthcare reform is boon for India outsourcing companiesMumbai – With 22 pen strokes, President Obama signed into existence not just a historic healthcare reform law but also monumental piles of paperwork: New member registration forms. More claims. Ever-expanding databases. And on top of that, pressure to cut costs. The bulge in administrative work may look like a nightmare to American insurance firms and government employees. But to outsourcing executives here in India, it’s h ...

I'm Surprised Bill Gave A Speech At AllSep 05, 2012
actually.  I know Bill is a popular democratic president and all but I would have thought he would have avoided that kind of thing especially if Hillary decides to run in '16.  If Obama gets re-elected and things don't improve or, God forbid, get worse, that isn't gonna help Hillary much when she runs next.    I'm curious on something else as well.  Is there anyone on this board who voted for Obama but actually wanted Hillary?  ...

Bill Clinton Says He's Surprised By Midterm LosesNov 16, 2014
"Former President Bill Clinton said Saturday that Democrats lacked a "national advertising campaign" in the recent midterm elections and that he's surprised many Senate races were not closer.  Clinton said in an interview with Politico that Republicans were helped by a larger bloc of voters who felt more strongly about the elections than members of his party. Democrats could have benefited from a national message that reinforced the party's positions on refinancing student loans a ...

Watching The Debate Yesterday On CSPAN, I Was A Bit Surprised/shockedMar 26, 2010
One of the debaters (can't remember his name but a pub) asked BARBARA SLAUGHTER if he could have 15 SECONDS to finish his sentence when his time ran out. She refused vehemently! She was also very nasty to someone else last week. Another pub wanted to introduce a bill and the grumblings started again from members. The gavel had to be wielded again to quiet the house. Sheila Jackson Lee stated "Since this bill was passed, lives HAVE BEEN SAVED". How? Nothing has gone into effect y ...
