Mercury One, the charity founded by Glenn Beck, went to the border in McAllen, Texas on Saturday to distribute tractor-trailers full of food, water, clothing and toys to the illegal immigrant children who are pouring into the United States. While Beck has consistently maintained that everyone who is in the United States illegally must be sent back to their home countries, he also says we must take care of the children in need until they are sent home. ;
To be clear Beck is for sending them back, - but in the meantime he
[ In Reply To ..]and his listeners raised 1.5 million to help feed the illegals, and also to take some of the strain off law enforcement and charities.
I didn't see much coverage of this on TV. All I heard was them making fun of him, Fox News included.
I know they have the US gov (i.e. taxpayers) - feeding them, Salvation Army,

I am not here to judge their motives. I don’t see anything wrong with them personally (not using tax dollars) supporting the above private organizations with their presence.
I still will keep what little I have to feed my own children, but I wish them the best.
Too bad some of that help is not given to the legal - citizens first, instead of illegals. sm
[ In Reply To ..]makes me sick to spend all this money on illegals, give them benefits and a free ride on the back of legal, native born Americans who lose jobs every day, can't find jobs, unemployment benefits run out and lose homes then get put out in the street and can't get a dam lick of help for any number of lame reasons.
but there's plenty of reasons and plenty of help for the illegal leeches sucking the system dry.
makes a lot of sense, doesn't it. screw the legal Americans to pamper the illegal leeches. this from the govt too dam lazy to do anything to create benefits/jobs for Americans, but they can sure create free programs fast enough to cater to the illegals.
