Father completed suicide this week

She seems to be fine but I can't be sure how she is really doing, you know? She was the one who found him in their bed with the gun in his hand. I cannot imagine. She won't really leave home that much because she says she feels closer to him there. One positive note is that she plans on going back to work Tuesday. We have removed the other gun from her home just in case she gets sad or thinks about joining him but the police have the original gun, not sure if she will tell us when she gets it back or not. I do worry about her as i'm hoping that is not all an act and she is really okay. They would have been married 38 years in August.

I don't think there is anything worse than losing a loved one in this way. I hope you'll all hold each other close and comfort each other. Please let others help you in any way you need them to.
