Its because he and his son are in a DEAL with the CHinese who want to build a plant of some kind on the land.....the son is the ONLY representative for this Chinese company - and the BLM (bureau of land management) happens to be the great senator's former advisor for his campaign. If that isn't conflict of interest, I don't know what is. Hope this blows up in his face and he's gone.

Dirty Harry self-exposed his evil ways long ago. He's about the only one who is transparent in this administration. You don't have to dig too deep to find the real reason. It's out there. You just won't find it on his TV station.

on the radio (a few days before TV was reporting the story), the first question I asked was if there were development plans in the works for that land, and sure enough, it turns out that Harry Reid's son is the attorney for a CHINESE group that wants the land to build some kind of solar equipment.

In any event, it seems that Reid nepotism is at work in this story, and as usual, we're continuing to sell America out to more foreign nations.

By the way, it might surprise you, but I'm a Democrat.

First of all if, as you say, his son is the attorney for a CHINESES (horrors) company, how is that nepotism?

Is his son, the attorney, not allowed to have clients?

Secondly, foreign interests have been buying parts of America for a very very very long time.

this rancher owes money to the government or not....when does our government ever send armed military over an unpaid bill? That is my problem! If he owes money, put a lien on his cows and his property but you don't send in armed forces and mistreat and kill some of the cows. I guess that is what makes me wonder what more to this story there is. Why such force over an unpaid bill when there are other ways to handle this without such an armed threat and for Reid to turn around and call those who stood with the rancher domestic terrorists...that is ridiculous. They refuse to call the Muslim Fort Hood shooter a terrorist when he shot and killed people and yet Americans stand against a corrupt government who is abusing power and handling this whole rancher thing wrongly and yet our government has no problem calling them domestic terrorists when no one was shot. And where the heck is PETA about the mistreatment and murder of the cows? Or is that liberal group gonna turn a blind eye to this?

There has to be more to this story but I'm sure Reid and all involved will come out smelling like roses because the liberal media is so biased and so many things have been swept under the rug with this administration.
