Today was my birthday

Here's how my b-day went.

Got up early to work.  Had work today, so not complaining about that, but was working on my b-day, instead of doing something nice for me.  I sat and thanked God at least I had work, and told myself its just another day.

Then taxes were due.  We owe.  Lovely!

Husband slept all day.  While I'm glad I had work, I would have loved to be sleeping all day.  Heard him snoring all the way to the other side of the house.  Lovely!

Had sinus problems all day, sneezing, watery itchy eyes, tired.  Lovely!

He went to mail taxes and of course was not in a good mood since he didn't want to go out.  Was snippy with me.  Lovely!

He came back and I made pizza for dinner.  I told him it's the easiest and fastest thing.  I'm tired and don't feel like cooking.  Pizza burned!  Lovely!  House stinks of burned pizza - double lovely!

So I am going to do something for myself now and go to bed.  Wow what a nice birthday gift to myself.  Not complaining there.  :-)

Oh yeah.  He has not remembered yet that it's my birthday.  Here's the funny thing.  We were watching a movie tonight and the character (male) said to the female character, why are you upset.  She said..."you forgot my birthday" (don't remember what he said).  My husband still didn't remember it's my birthday.  Lovely!

Night all.  54 years old today (feel like 64).  A good nights sleep will help.
