League of angels How do I get rid of it?

Posted: Jan 16, 2014

I don't know what I did to deserve this, but this obscene little video game called league of angels keeps popping up on my screen when I get on here and it's this closeup graphic of big bouncy chests and thong panties/bikini bottoms.  Does anybody know how to get rid of this?

;

Yes, I would like to know too. It is highly irritating. - And why me?

OK, so at times I get ads that are definitely targeted appropriately, like for MModal and Jimmy Johns subs. But why am I getting these creepy League of Angels ads? I mean, I am not interested in video games and not interested in looking at massive bouncing cartoon breasts, and do not make google searches related to such subjects, so what on earth?

I guess I could look at getting adblocker or something, but regardless it is still worrying that the ad server thinks I want to check out something like this!

install AdBlock - XanaX

AdBlock is absolutely amazing. Never any targeted advertising anywhere anytime. Love it!

Me too! Best thing out there :) - nm

What I mean is that when you click on someone's post here, you pick up that person's interests? This is my theory.

no, it doesn't work like that - nm

I'd like to get rid of it, too - Looks like a porno flick

I asked my husband if he was looking at anything that would cause this to come up on my computer, LOL. I did realize it's just this site, not anywhere else I go, so it must have something to do with somebody here.

Ads are annoying to begin with, but I certainly don't want to watch a bunch of boobs bouncing up and down on my screen.

I would also like to get rid of it. Maybe the moderator can help. - nm

the moderator cannot control what happens - on your computer

I just scroll down so it's out of view. I don't think - this site can control ad content. NM

When I was shopping for a Vera Bradley purse, I noticed that all the adds were for purses, so I figured my son was looking at something "inappropriate" so those adds came up. I was going to confront him about this. Now I'm glad I didn't. Those adds are just plain silly. Who is looking at that crap and why do they think that a bunch of middle-aged women would want to visit that site?

LOL - see msg

I'm the one who asked her husband if he was doing something on the computer. He said "no," so I figured it had something to do with someone here.

Anyway, always good to ask someone before jumping on them and accusing them.

I haven't seen that ad lately, has anyone else? I realize it was for some sort of juvenile game, but at first I thought it was a porno thing.

Yes! Thankfully they have stopped! - Praise be!

That is quite the coincidence isn't it? Anyway, for whatever reason, glad they have stopped, as they were really, really unsavory!

:)
Quite the coincidence - I wonder

...if the moderator can block ads. I would think there would have to be a way. Funny how it all stopped just after we got going on the thread here.

A Christmas Poem For The Newtown Angels.Dec 20, 2012
Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38, when 26 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate. Their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air. They could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there. They were filled with such joy; they didn't know what to say. They remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day. “Where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse. “This is heaven" declared a small boy. "We’re spending Christma ...

West's Strikes On Libya Hit Arab League Criticism.Mar 20, 2011
Libyan state television showed footage from an unidentified hospital of what it called victims of the "colonial enemy." Ten bodies were wrapped up in white and blue bed sheets, and several people were wounded, one of them badly, the television said. Western intervention, after weeks of diplomatic wrangling, was welcomed with a mix of apprehension and relief in Benghazi, where the main hospital was filled with men, women and children wounded in Saturday's assault on the city by Gaddafi' ...

Catholic League President: Priests Aren't Pedophiles, Molesting Children Is 'whatApr 08, 2010
By Stephen C. WebsterTuesday, April 6th, 2010 -- 11:35 pm In another coup for the seemingly part-time political pundit Bill Donohue, CNN broadcast on Tuesday a conversation about the Catholic church's thousands of pedophilia scandals that would be awkward to even over-hear in public, let alone broadcast nation-wide. That's because Donohue, who presides over the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, decided to take the matter of a 14-year-old's sexual abuse to a level o ...
